It's like fighting the monster that you don't understand, cannot fully see or don't know how to describe. That is a perfect ground for feeding anxiety. Be ultra specific and write down the worth case scenario to create your combat strategy. Brilliant!

Great video Conor! I especially liked the notion that fears we're clear about we can deal with while vage fears we can not. Keep up the great work!

I think the books Atomic Habits by James Clear (amzn.to/3ENVqMB ) and Tiny Habits by BJ Fogg (amzn.to/3eVi1w9 ) are the best resources on how to make habit change stick in your life.

Would that be similar to the hats approach to new ideas/project?

I want to thank you for your great videos. I actually have a question out of the topic. When it comes to public speaking (job presentation or something else), I really do great job, but when it comes to ordinary conversation, I become a shy person. For me, the only explanation, is that I'am the kind of people that needs to prepare, beforehand, the topic to feel comfortable, but unfortunaly, this cannot be applicable in every day life. how can I get through that ?

I think there is an idea from Seth Godin - "be interested, not interesting" - in conversation seek to learn from the other more than share what you already know... Dan Sullivan says that he tries to ensure that he talks about the other person, their goals, their achievements, their obstacles... and this is what makes for a great conversation
