You can not only play a legacy version, but also just disable the non content dlc. The rest dont give items.

@TheNinthGamer Yes, it's optional to use it, but you still can't drop it. While the Silver Shroud quest line isn't completed, the Silver Shroud armor doesn't have any weight.

@@not_that_person Doesn’t it regain weight between the quests? Being technical, it *does* become a weighted armor after finishing the quest, even if you go to start the next as soon as you could. As well, you are able to drop it after the initial quest, thus removing its quest flag: I never even knew it could be improved my first run through years ago.

@@TavanaBnuuy No, I think you give Kent the Silver Shroud Costume, which finishes the first quest. Then when the next quest is started (which is immediately after, I think), he gives you the Silver Shroud Armor. There are only upgrades if you're below level 45 when you receive the Silver Shroud Armor. Otherwise it's immediately in its strongest form. Besides that I can understand if one were to miss the upgrades. I think there are few players that listen in on Kent's radio station outside of the quest line.

@@dave_4527 those are not glitches, it is just a little weird thing about the game's really sensitive physics engine, that is the reason why we can get damage by running into a car or a ton of item lying in the ground and flying in the sky by getting hit with giant's club in Skyrim
