Great lesson, you can always learn more as you said. Will endeavor to use techniques for tress. Am quite the tree hugger 😀. Thanks Clive. Do enjoy uour lessons. Rather new and going thru your videos 👍👋
Hi Again Clive, I’m back again, sorry, ha-ha. I bought some of your wet on wet white paint and am excited to receive it. I love the way your system tells you where your is at each stage. Shows real caring and confidence about your products. I’m fighting with my trees but determined to learn. Want to paint an old Elizabethan barn that was knocked down years ago where I grew up in Rowlands Gill. I’ve got a photograph taken back in the early 1980s for reference. It’s in fields just in front of Henry VIII’s Forest Chopwell Woods. The old group is surprisingly a family member, that explains my mother’s temper under her loving giving nature, ha-ha. Anyway, thank you.
Thank you for this tutorail on trees, it had lots of useful information. Believe it or not this is the first time I've ever heard Church Bells...& I'm 42! I wish they would bring them back in the U.S. Thanks again Clive.
Thank you again for an easy to follow tutorial. I only did the first tree, but it was nice to watch the others while cleaning my work space and I am sure I will get to the Christmas tutorial eventually. Also, I think the trees here in Germany are pretty similar to the ones in England/Wales. We do have evergreen trees here. Will have to wait for spring to see the sun break through a leafy tree, though. ;)
Nice looking video. So any time when doing trees and bushes. You should put a darker color down so it pops better.I like what you have done.I need get myself up and going on the canvases.
I just discovered you today (you were recommended on Facebook) and love your painting. What kind of brush are you using for the greenery on this tree? Thanks.
If it's the first tree I used a round bristle. Brush I had laying around any firm brush should be ok type in #clive5art in the search bar all my videos will pop up Thanks Clive
Sometimes when I use yellow, strangely it disappears into the background colour slowly when it dries. Just like a torch with a failing bulb. I don’t know, may be the paint make is my problem. I’m using crafters which is generally pleasing to use and yes cheaper for povaty stricken beginner like me, ha-ha. I think I’ll invest in some Daler Rowney or Liquatex for yellow and see if that is my mysterious problem.
