I just came across this video. That piece is really lovely. It was beautiful before the mermaid and could have stood alone but the addition of the mermaid made it magical. Thank you for a magical moment.

I like how this is more than just mandalas, it would be cool to see a video of a project inspired by the history of dot painting, traditional aboriginal dot painting. That was not just art but also a form of communication. If you wanted to really challenge yourself you could use different sizes of twigs and sticks like was originally used. That is how art and artists "evolve" by challenging themselves going outside comfort zones, trying new things, looking back at old things, experimenting with different styles and materials..

Stunning! I love your videos and, thanks to you, this week tried my own dot mandalas. I'm hooked! Experimented with a heart shaped wood blank which I covered with gold leaf before dotting in blues and purples. Loved the effect but it's a little tricky working against the reflection of the gold :-) Thank you so much for the inspiration.
