It's because the Nu and the Hi-Nu are fan favorite designs for a very long time. Lots of people want to have these two units.

This is indeed one of the most important info to be revealed especially when named " how wo paint resin kit".... I have the same question and assume that it would be either Gaia Notes GS-01 or Mr. Primer Surfacer used in this video. Anyways both of them are good for resin priming.

I think it’s because resin kits will either convert a model into a version that Bandai have not and/or will not ever produce or because the resin kit provides much more surface detail and/or parts/weapons that the base kit does not provide. Sure the base kits at rg and pg are pretty good with surface detail but Bandai will almost certainly never produce anything that can rival a resin kit in terms of visual detail. As for playability, resin kits aren’t marketed to people who like to play with their gunpla; otherwise more manufacturers would be willing to pre-paint the pieces before selling them and there would be a more diverse amount of options for a wider array of gunpla. Resin kits are for dedicated modelers who want to make their piece as visually appealing as possible. They’re display pieces, models, something that showcases a modeler’s skills. They’re not action figures.

You can also visually see the difference of the resin completed model is heavier. And there's a challenge aspect of it as you can't just snap build it, you need to have all the modelling basics plus a totally different skills to put them together such as using copper rod or metal rod for reinforcement, instant glue, magnet, lots of masking skills needed. Its more time consuming than a Bandai kit.
