Hi, congratulation for your beautiful job. I have a question. How I can do stencil brand for paint helmet? You can do a tutorial step by step (materials, dimension..) to realize a helmet senna replica? Thanks a lot
Awesome, I wish to have the patience and skills do make one. I hope one day buy one to look at it and remember the great memories Senna provided to all Brazilians and lovers of F1.
Not sure if you guys cares but if you're stoned like me during the covid times you can stream all the latest movies and series on instaflixxer. Have been watching with my gf for the last few days :)
Hello, Thanks very much for your sharing. It's a beautiful job. Can you tell me what are the RAL color code you used ? I didn't found them on the Web. Thank you very very much.
I mixed all the paints by eye, so can't tell you any codes. I would say the small lines are about 1.5 mm and the big green and blue lines were 4cm if I remember correctly.
Tutorial ? Really ? Watch the original painter at work (Sid Mosca) and see how he does it. And most of the logos were stickers. They were not painted on. I have seen several original Senna helmets, so I know for sure. And a friend of mine owns an original, race worn helmet. I've seen it. It's truly a piece of art............!!
Thanks for the great response. ;-) But....you see..... It's an emotional thing. Anything Senna related draws my attention. I saw him race. Up close. So close that the rubber from his tyres litterally hit me in the face (Spa, 1992, as he drove over a small tunnel, North of the kart track (Courbe Paul Frère), I was standing right behind the guard rail. Illegally..... Don't tell anyone.....). I've seen you other artwork. You're okay !! ;-)
Stickers all over : f1i.com/images/328205-a-race-worn-ayrton-senna-helmet-awaits-a-bidder.html Igor, if you can find a machine that can cut these stickers for you, it will not only safe you a lot of work, but you will get a bit closer to the original as well. Once you get the hang of it, you might get more customers ! ;-)
