I loved this tutorial. Reminded me of my grandmother's house. When we were little we would put our fingers inside the snapdragons and make them talk. She grew them next to her porch.
Your style is by far my favorite style of all the watercolor youtubers I've seen. I really like the loose not super realistic but you can still tell what you're looking at style. So far I have all these imperfect little flowers I painted all around my desk that I tried while watching your videos lol I was getting frustrated before watching your videos because by the time you go back to do color bleeds, your paper is always still nice and damp where as mine (even though it's arches) is always dry so my trick is to wait and keep watching til you do the bleeds then I do it all at once :D now it works for me! I live in a dry climate.
I love your easy style of painting!! I usually watch you during my lunch break (I work from home) and I must admit, I am often tempted to paint right then and there and skip out on work!! Thanks for all you share!!
Thank you for not editing out the "mistakes" as a beginner I make a lot of them and its so nice to know how to make it better. I have a really hard time with things drying too fast and its hard not to just wait for all of it to dry and start again
I love your channel. Thank you for presenting a lovely, carefree, & enjoyable approach towards watercolor. It's so easy to feel inspired by you, thanks a million
Beautiful and inspiring! I really appreciate your showing how to change things up to bring out a lovely look. It helps to know more how to go back and correct things too! Thanks Emma!
Thank you for such a great lesson! I love that you took it slowly, step by step so I could follow along and learn from you. You are my 'go to' teacher 😊
I'm so still learning but love fictitious flowers as well as real flowers.I always have trouble painting stems and leaves for whatever I paint.Help on brush choice, placement, depth of color etc so as to fill in the space other than the flower top would be appreciated. My details ruin a lot of what I love in the flower I painted.I so love your work!Great teacher.
Sweet little painting. Composition is really important. The container should be less than a third of painting. 2thirds flowers who wants to look at a massive glass jar! A tutorial on refraction would be good Then it can be added to jar painting?
Hi Emma I’m so excited this painting and arrangement is so beautiful once I paint them I will be turning them into mother’s day cards for my mum and my mum in law
Do you have a video on flower vases, jars and containers? Or practice lessons I know this is a 3 year old video, but maybe you could recommend a video Thanks Emma for these great, simple videos for beginners
I loved this project and your tutelage! I did stumble while following along with trying to do wet on wet bleeds every time a commercial would pop up! I know you get paid for these and I always try to let them play for the contributors that I watch.
I love your tutorials!! Thank you for sharing your amazing talent! Just wondering if you have a tutorial in painting preserved flowers eg. mini preserved hydrangeas etc? thanks in advance!
Emma Lefebvre yes it is a round brush. I have a 6 and 2 size. It is great watching your videos - I really appreciate learning something new. Thank you for responding - I was thinking I may have purchased the wrong brushes.
I've watched several videos. Then I realized you are also a Lefebvre. so funny. maybe its genetic this love of watercolour. i loved all your wildflowers. I am working so hard on getting them. i guess its practice practice practice. have you done any food ones. I have been struggling with strawberries. any tips
It's beautiful! Thank you so much! Could you paint a pasque flower (wild crocus) sometime? They are in bloom now on the prairies of several states and provinces.
This is so Beautiful..I painted the abstract poppies today, did not have the warm red you used, and it was no where as Beautiful as yours ,but it looked so pretty..Thank you ♥️..
