im currently in the first semester of my accelerated program, and my fundi professor LITERALLY reads word-for-word off the powerpoints, including her notes at the bottom. I have my 1st exam next week, 50 questions based on 5 chapters and i have no idea what to study. i really liked the tip of using the textbook questions and pretending they're exam questions. hopefully, it'll help, thank you for sharing this information!
Are you able to reach out to previous students who have taken the course? It always helps to gauge a teachers testing style from former students in those situations. I would make sure you know those slides like the back of your hand. You got this!!
How old are you? This video was so helpful! I'm starting back up on the nursing program next month and I'll be re-taking N1B, I didn't pass my first time! I'll definitely implement these tips this time! Thank you so much girl 🥰❤
@@moniquechisholm8964 Yes, I passed the second time! I'm currently in my 2nd semester. My first Pediatric rotation tomorrow for clinicals! Can't wait ❤
Thank you for your share .I already start Fundamental 1 week .and will have exam for nursing process coming in this Tuesday 30. over here not require this book any more . they chang to small one and study for all from ATI packet .I always watch your Vedio.
@@KristinaMerrill I can't make it. I did 4 exam to bad on my grade now. Just discussed about should I stop it or keep going. My grade really bad now. Sorry about sharing
This is super helpful and makes me feel better about the things I’m already doing! Great video! Side note: you will know your schools policies but I am NOT allowed to record my lectures to ensure no one ends up with a HIPAA violation lol🤪
Do you have any tips on how to study 7 chapters a week?? I start nurse process next semester and I hear it’s so many chapters each week! I’m so scared.
One of the biggest tips I have is to talk to your teachers. Not just in class but after class. Speak with them show them you care and ask their advice. They will tell you how to focus on certain chapters and which ones you don’t really need to harp on.
My professors MAKE us , they said "you learn better if you find the information yourself " we were not given any study guide or sense of direction just the chapters numbers we have to go over.
That’s so unfortunate!! I’m so sorry. Those standards are not realistic. There is an immense amount of information. I would speak to your professor and explain you need further direction since it’s information overload. If they don’t take action go to their higher up. You can’t pay for someone to tell you to read the chapter. And if they don’t help go somewhere else! Seriously! That’s an awful education why pay them.
My teacher provided us with a study guide! It was really just a list of things we should know. She was very straightforward! I made my own quizlets using the study guide or I would just write it out.
Just work with what you do have! If they let you record then record them. Listen to key words that they say. Meet with them ask what to concentrate on. You got this!!
@@ceestudy5898 oh no I’m so sorry they don’t! Unfortunately I can’t provide any documents from school. It’s their policy. But if you go on quizlet there are so so many resources!!
@@leericacummings382 no sorry!! I wasn’t able to find it. But there are many quizlets on that book. I would just try and google the book name and whichever topic you need. :)
lol our teacher doesnt lecture, you are suppose to "be resourceful nurse and figure it out " .. I learn by listening and not just dry reading, been nothing but frustrating.. good luck yall
@@KristinaMerrill no lol, 5 min power point on what to know for test, not even a ch or a page.. jealous of all these people and their hours long lectures, you guys don't know how good u have it
@@romanb5032 I’m sorry you don’t have a better structured program. I’ve never heard of that before. I would transfer schools if that really was the case. You can’t learn how to be a nurse without proper teaching. I hope the best for you!!!
I’m so sorry I just saw this!! I hope you’re okay. Don’t give up many people fail this class but go in there strong next semester! People thrive the second time around! ❤️
