Driving test at Barking? You need this driving test walkthrough. I take you around a driving test route at Barking and show you how to pass like a driving instructor.
I was soooo excited to stop watching driving videos after I passed my test and here I am panicking because I’m actually expected to drive independently so I need to continue watching videos😂 because you don’t really stop learning, it’s continuous.
🤣 please dont stop watching driving videos! But also you got this!! You're always still learning but you'll do it best by just getting out there and DRIVING!!
In my opinion, the way it's expected to drive safely in the UK is better than the way they urge you to drive correctly in Germany (for a driving test). Since i watch Videos like this and compare it to similar ones in "my country" I like much more the pragmatic style in the UK.😊🎉
I passed yesterday first time after chronically watching your videos a week up to my test. I picked up lots of things my instructor didn’t teach me. 🎉 thank youuuuu!
Francis' thoughts are exactly how I took my learning to driving when I was learning at the start of last year but also still now even though it has been a year since I got my full licence, I don't need the car for work, it is purely for social and a bit more freedom but I went full force with it and took it very seriously. I was always watching a variety of youtube videos about driving alongside my lessons each week, especially this channel and Conquer Driving, and I still watch them all now because driving is a life skill. I displayed to the examiner last year that I was safe enough to pass the full test (I had 1 minor for planning and awareness) but even now I am still learning various things through videos because any kind of scenario can occur and it is great to see other's views and understanding, like Francis mentioned, there could be 101 different scenarios.
I passed last week in Hendon, London, with 0 minors!! I was so sure I failed as I accidentally did 26 in a 20 for a full minute but when I pointed it out my examiner said she didn't count it as I had good control, there were no people around and I had a perfect drive otherwise. So lucky!!!
This route looks nice and chill, I think I would feel more relaxed doing my test in low speed/slow moving traffic. All of the routes in Middlesbrough have stretches of 50 or 70mph roads with big intersection roundabouts, which are what I'm most nervous about. I'm trying to familiarise myself with the lane layouts and approaches to those roundabouts using Google Maps, so I know what I'm deadling with.
Brings back memories of 1999 the same place i lived in park avenue those test examiners at the time was rough no such thing as internet RU-vid looking at Hints and tips on your smart phones, the internet did exist but no such thing has what we got today basically here we have a driving instructor or examiner telling you how to pass your test free of charge no way would you of seen this back in the days i failed 4 times passed 5th i was nervous wreck back in the 1990s
Omd I did this test centre on my first test I got 1 serious 3 minors I couldn’t believe I failed ngl apprantly I signaled way to early when he ask me to park up I couldn’t believe it pretty harsh tbf
Great video as always, Franco! It really helps to see you drive through such a busy and challenging test route such as this. I'm still avidly watching your content and other driving videos because I really REALLLLLLY want/need to be able to actually take my test this time in August and not have to cancel it. I'm turning 50 (yikes!) this September and I want to give myself the best present I can ask for at a 'pass'. I will keep you updated as always.... 😉
Gosh Steveo!! I really hope you get to do the test this time! Its such good experience even if it's only for learning, and you have to come back again. I'll have my fingers crossed 'til august!!
Its nice to see you back in my area haha tbh driving here isn't as difficult as it may seem or usually told lol Fun fact: I almost failed 30 seconds into my test
This video is just cool. I have booked my practical test already. I came here to prepare for it. I have a question: I could drive both manual and automatic before moving to the UK, if I feel confident after online lessons, can I do my practical test without having a training with a physical instructor?
Hi Francis, sorry for the random question but just wanted to ask you something, I’ve found this online, a solid white line marking indicates the boundary of a cycle lane, motorists are not allowed to cross this line and enter the cycle lane, except when turning or crossing a driveway, so you’re allowed to cross the solid white line of a cycle lane when turning or when entering or leaving a driveway?
That’s a very good fair comment, I’ve seen so many different opinions online about this, it should be made clear in the Highway Code, it only says you must not drive or park in a mandatory cycle lane during its hours of operation, it doesn’t say anything about crossing the line to turn into a road or onto a driveway.
Can i take lessons with driving school tv before my test in September 20?😮 3:43 good advice for viewers 😊 12:59 a hazard Good example in a hazard perception test😅 26:28 can i take a mock test for Yt?🎉 30:25 mitcham in south west London.
@@DrivingSchoolTV yay. It's probably very easy for you, but I failed lots of times in Crawley before I quit driving/learning some 13 years ago!! ps- liked and subscribed
I am doing my test at goodmayes which crosses over 100% with the route you took. Would have had my test last tuesday but DVSA cancelled on me an hour before :( I HATE driving round this area, turning right onto ilford lane (the last busy highstreet in the vid) also I find it really difficult to read road markings on the "square-about". I know the area so I know where I need to go, but I have l always asked my instructor how I am meant to know where to go if I was new to the area. Some of the markings are very worn, others are just placed at the last possible moment. It was nice to see how you handled all those situations though:)
