Did you exclusively use these videos or were there other resources?

@@gmontenegro9711 all respect to the Professor, but definitely find other resources to cover things HE may not. I just took the 1001 and although I passed, there were some small things the Professor didn’t cover. That’s why multiple resources are necessary.

How much the exam costs?

Very extensive for a RU-vid course. I hope he's making enough money because he's made some quality content.

I passed in first attempt too.. These videos are extremely helpful. However for exam you need to practice exam questions well before exam. I used practice tests from Skillcertpro which are very close main exam. Got nearly 70% from their sets which helped me to score 95%. Make sure to practice as many questions as possible and read explanation to understand the concepts.

Is watching the whole series of professor messor enough to ACE the test....or do we need to spend a little time with the books too.........please answer me as soon as possible .....i'm thinking of taking the test as soon as i complete this series....so your answer is so valuable to me....!

what all materials did you use to study? and how many hours a day did you study for the cert?

@@realistt3351 Take Simulations infinitely, doesn't matter how good you get at them. never stop. I would say 3-5 per day.

@@JerseyJeff84 I didn't find it all that difficult. I remember reading that the newer Net+ test (the one I took) was easier than the old one.

​@@Cammy71480 I know you didn't ask, but I have some info that might help in overwhelming situations. You probably already know this: A Study Suggestion that works for some but torture for others: Just do one video at a time (sometimes I even listen and 1.5 speed) and don't worry about understanding them. Then once you finish watching all the videos or all the videos in a series, watch them again and again. If you do this the repetition will encourage learning. Just replace one show or other habit with one, two or three episodes... whatever you can tolerate. The learning is more passive then some people can tolerate. Sometimes a bit longer study time, but not always. One area this method of study surpasses others, at least for me, is the anecdotal fact that I seem to just know the information as if I have always known it. In other words it seems to become a natural knowledge at some point instead of having to think hard to recall information.

Which study guide dof you use together with these videos?

@@armando9395 I purchased the CompTIA CertMaster Practice for Network+ (N10-007). Went through all the practice learning questions and the practice test until I felt confident to take the test. Good luck.

May I ask you what book you used to study for the exam?

Duane I did not purchase a book tbh. I made my own notes and followed the net+ on here. I also did several practice exams on Udemy.

My boss got me a book and it came with total tester on a CD, i also used udemy/ mike meyers course and also examcompass's exams.

@@armando9395 Also I forgot to mention PocketPrep Network+ app on the google play store. It helped me quite a lot just to remember key concepts.

Please what materials did you use aside prof messer's videos? And are the questions similar to prof messer's pop quiz?

riswan agyeman I used pocket prep net+ app, I also have taken a network foundations course in school recently that helped the most, I’d recommend getting the network+ textbook from mike Myers, it’s about $30

The N10-006 exam will not be retired until August 31st, so you've got plenty of time to pass the N10-006.

WOW! I am scheduled to take the N10-006 exam in mid April and just had a heart attack thinking I was going to have to start the N10-007! Whew. BTW Professor your videos are awesome and were key in helping me to pass the A+ exam with more than flying colors

The N10-006 exam has been retired, so stick with N10-007 materials.

Yes, in June of 2021, the N10-007 is the current Network+ exam.

What resources did you used?

Videos, simulations, online questions banks, books, and in-person classes.

You can see some note examples on his website. His notes stick very tight to the exam. If you only learn for the exam the notes are great. A book e.g. Meyers, Cram or others offer a lot of details. They have 500 to 700 pages and you have to filter out the "useless" against the "useful" infomation. Professors notes have 66 pages and contain all necessary information for the exam. In case you want to gain a lot of back ground knowledge -> buy a book. (Sorry for my bad english, I am not a native english speaker)
