So I just doubled checked and you’re wrong. The timing for all 3 perfect knuckles are the same. It’s 18-20 frames.

I made my own trick for the perfect flash knuckle by pressing the next buttons and both release. I dont want to comment links but I do have my video in this account in case anyone is curious..

So presumably there will be similar tech for Marisa and Cammy (dunno if anyone else has charged specials like that). I like that there are lots of little things like this that will need to be mastered to progress past a certain level.

Long story short people go to training mode and practice because the way I do it is on visual cues. As soon as his arm glows you need to release. For the QCB L charge the time frame before the glow is shorter than the one for his QCB Medium charge which is a little bit longer before the glow starts.

The only thing preventing me from playing Luke, I hate "hold button" special moves like this and zonk knuckle, but this one is even more annoying because of precise timing, I tried a lot getting better at it with Luke on SFV and a bit on SF6 demo, but this is not for me. But I appreciate the mechanic existing to spice the character up.

I can perfect that it's very easy 😅

it cant even done from muscle memory because if you special cancel any normal into it the timing is gonna be different. the reason is because its animation dependant. its not like a special that needs to be charged like guile's sonic boom. what i mean, if for example, you do crouching heavy punch and special cancel into a flash knuckle, you can input that special in different frames (i guess its related to input leniancy). of course the best option is to do it inmediatly (input the special while the normal is coming out) so that it feels consistent. the best way i think is to have visually confirm his punch charging up to time the perfect version
