I have a set of extensions that I already dyed with semi-perm color (a few months ago), I want to try to perm them. How will this affect the color? Or vice-versa, will the dye in the hair affect the end result of the perm? Thanks.
How did it go? Got some tape-ins that were supposed to be a natural loose curl, instead received hair that was permed into Jerry curls. They did such a bad job too. Lesson learned, if hair is on clearance, there's a good reason why. Gonna risk it and see if a home perm will get the hair closer to my natural curl pattern. 😭
@@Javonne863i said f it and they went right into my sell pile. I got straight extensions off amazon and a smoothing keratin treatment from Sally's. I've been doing curly girl for 10 years and sick of how much work it is. Keratin takes a couple of hours and lasts three months. I can't be assed to spend one more minute on having curly hair. Sorry, friend.
@@MiniJenJenThe issue we have in the UK is the only stores you can buy black hair care products from are Asian. Many are friendly and warm and they really do their best but they don't use the products so can't advise. It's so odd. Imagine Asian women only being able to buy saris from black women with zero Asians selling products they use on the high street. This has been ongoing for decades.
