Skoda changed that completely with the new models. I own the 2023 vrs and in normal mode the engine noise is actually turned off! So no more fake sound after every start. + the sound is not that noisy anymore. It’s just one of the few things that skoda really improved in the newer models but I don’t get why they didn’t do that to all models since it has to be a software thing right ?

I turned mine off completely after installing a Miltek non cat exhaust, stage 1 remap and dsg tune. She sounds great

You mentioned long coding, I don’t fancy paying £60 for the OBD thingy then have to pay for an annual fee to stop or start different things. Is there anyway to use the OBD without spending extra to use the bloody app? Cheers

Waiting on my new car I’ll be turning on 30 ambient colours window drop and lock car with ignition on obd eleven is 😎 using it few years now 👍 love your Skoda badge on the bonnet 👍

Had my 2023 vrs for two days, I absolutely love it apart from having to select individual mode to turn off crap fake noise, then disable Lane assist and finally stop start (every single time I fire up the ignition). Takes about a minute to disable these three things but is very annoying. Think I'll try this to at least remove two of the issues. Hopefully obd eleven will figure out how to disable stop start (or someone will explain how to go it with long coding)

Hi Darren. I get frustrated at having to turn the start/stop engine feature off every time I turn on the car. Will this OVD device allow me to turn this off permanently too??

Cheers. Just bought a VRS and I haven't even got it yet but watched so many videos and already wanting to turn it off haha. Any chance you could please do a video on all the other options available in that app?
