How to photograph beer with one light. Product photography can be really simple and effective, watch and find out how I got this shot with one pocket light.

Thank You! I really appreciate that! Well, you know how it is with food photography, everyone has a very different style and slightly different perspective, I think Pete's and Jonas's were great, and I'm really happy you like my final shot 🔥 That means a lot to me!

Although you said one light and you used 3 by which one of them was a special light BUT I subbed, belled and saved :-). You showed how to composite the EASY, simple and to the point way without jumping off topic a hundred times like every other video. I use affinity(your PS kryptonite) ;-) ... and I can now composite like a pro because I couldn't figure it out until I saw this vid.

I really appreciate that! I used one light though ⚡️ The Atomcube RX1, I did a film on it a while back, awesome light! Yes, the composite is the key in advanced drinks photography, I will get into that more in the future, working on that now. Thanks for dropping by, the comment means the world to me 🔥

Thanks! For a pocket light I'd go with the Aputure MC, that thing I take everywhere with me, and I think I have about 60 pocket lights to choose from right now.

Where can I find the bottles with matt finish and the ice frosting? I am in Sweden but what is the name of each product? you should mention in description :D THANKS!

The matte finish you'll find in an art shop, just a matte varnish spray. Ice frosting, buy a diaper/Pampers, put some water in it, cut it open, take out the ice. I did mention all of this in the video 👌🏻

Nicely done. It all looks great but (and this is no reflection on your work here) I hate how that label colour stands up against the colour of the bottle in the final image. Wish it had been a darker label then it would have been perfect IMO.

Hmm i see your point but i think that last hit of brightness/contrast on it gets it to pop enough and I think its just enough of a color difference. Plus i guess technically if it was a really brand shot they'd want their label to be the correct color

Thank You! I really love constructive criticism and other points of view, and I respect the people who stand up and comment what they truly think! Everyone has a completely different perspective when it comes to food and drink photography, and I've done it a fair bit, but that's a great comment, and yes, it might be a touch too bright, sometimes it's really hard to judge when you're so close to the product. I guess in a week or so I'll look at it and think damn, that label is bright as hell! Thanks for dropping by 🔥

Oh yea, if it was a brand shoot I'd be in there with a light meter, a grey card and make sure that's all clean as it can be. This was just fun with one light though, I kind of like how the label pops, but I might be too close to the image, I'll take a look again in a few days.

@@JakeBaconDigital Yes! I usually leave a week until I choose and edit my photos from a shoot as my feelings and emotions completely change and I look at them from a completely different perspective as time goes by.
