I use Foxfarm Ocean Floor. So far, germination has been successful. They were planted in 5 gallon tomato buckets. They have been producing for several years.

HEY Kelly!!! That is awesome. I have got to try the Ocean Floor, but I have not changed because the one I use works well for me. I am going to try the one you use. Thanks for letting me know.

You might be pleasantly surprised how much you can harvest by growing in 5 gal buckets and 18 gal totes.

Thanks for this extremely informative video. I gonna be planting a variety of seeds & I planned on using quite a few saved egg cartons (the degradable kind). Will I be able to bottom water in them?,… or will they become too weak & fall apart?
@GrowSomethingTasty
@GrowSomethingTasty 8 дней назад
You are welcome!!! I'm glad you thought it was informative. I ready don't know. I have not tried it. Since they are degradable, it could fall apart. I think it will last with some watering from the bottom but I don't know how much. I might have to experiment with that idea. Thanks for the experiment.

My seeds come up then they just sit there and don't gro do u know why
@GrowSomethingTasty
@GrowSomethingTasty 5 дней назад
HEY HOPE!!! Are you feeding them nitrogen after they come up. The seeds have the nutrients to germinate, but after they grow the true leaves, we need to feed them.

🦟 What 🦟 is 🦟 best 🦟 for 🦟 keeping 🦟 pest 🦟 away after the collards have grown large.

You can use neem oil. The best thing to use is a netting that stops all pests from eating the leaves.
