Wayne - my accuracy has improved ten fold since learning from your recent videos! I can’t thank you enough :) my dartboard is maintaining my sanity during lockdown! 😃⭐️
Would also appreciate a video on this! It's uncomfortable for me to line up the dart closely with any part of my eye, but I am more accurate when I do it. I also feel as if it's harder to drive the dart to the board when I aim like this. Maybe I'm doing something wrong...
brilliant! you've covered three things i have a tendency of doing, in the first five videos. not firmly planting my lead foot, so i tend to wobble or look as if i am throwing with my "body"; my shoulder position being more contoured to my torso, making it feel uncomfortable; and darts going into the board leaning to the left a tad, because i am not opening my hand early enough. yes i am a mess of a dart player. haha. but i will improve. thank you so much for these videos! cheers to you and sherlock, from across the "pond".
This was great (and not just because of Sherlock)! It turns out that I'm a heel balancer and that explains a lot. I'll work on my stance some more. Thank you!
Thanks, I do get a dead leading leg after an hour plus . I stand side on so will now try to think about that part and my weight distribution more than before.
After watching this video, I’d like to think I’d beat Rob Cross but in a solid year of throwing darts at the board, I’ve hit 180 once. Haha. Good videos though and they’ll help me out a lot.
@waynemardle. i love the video's and thanks for charing your brain with us :) .. btw..train the dog to get your darts back..better then your flipflops...
I remember you making the heal lifting comment about Nathan Aspinal.. he moves like that.. I've seen many people, in our pub league, all doing the different stances you've mentioned. My mate does the leaning back one haha. I always tell him but he still does it. Question is though... What am I doing 🙈🙈🙈
Mr. Mardle....I am shocked how bad I am at darts. And I want to be good. I've watched your videos and I have quit moving my back leg...so that's a plus. And I'm a tad better.....but....if I'm really bad....should I just keep aiming for one spot like treble 20 and nothing else? I feel like I'm still in the "lucky" shot phase
me too, I'm more comfortable standing legs shoulders apart > even more stable. I'm interesting if this has a disadvantage other than being further away from the board...
I dont lean realy🤔 i stand in a 40 degree angle with my left foot on the ocky. feels good to me. Its personal ofcourse. Im on my way MVG🤣😂 Thanks wayne😉
