Today we have a build for Cad Bane in Dungeons & Dragons! If you want to bring one of the best bounty hunters in Star Wars into your next game of D&D 5e, this is the build for you! Twitter: / tulokthe Patreon: / tulok
Star Wars has always been take your favorite thing from history and make it sci-fi. You wanna be a Shaolin monk, Jedi. You want WWI dogfights, X-wings vs TIE fighters. You wanna be a New England fisherman, that one planet from that episode of the Mandalorian that I love way too much. Star Wars has it all
For Cad Bane’s Rogue levels I’d go Scout or Swashbuckler instead. He very much has the attitude, if you’re going to fight someone face them like a man. The Scout’s Skirmisher, Survivalist, and Superior Mobility features all fit Cad pretty well being able to improve his tracking as a bounty hunter, create distance if someone closes the gap between them, and extra movement to keep up with Jedi. The Swashbuckler also works well Rakish Audacity for better quick draws and sneak attacks even when alone, Fancy Footwork to help create distance (and before someone says it only applies on melee attacks, this still applies to Shocking Grasp or other melee spell attacks or even an unarmed attack so even if you miss you still get a free disengage), and while it only came up during “The Box” Bane assisting Obi-Wan against Moralo Eval works with the Swashbuckler’s Panache feature.
I feel like this might do the exact opposite of what you want it to do, lol. Trying to find a way to put Tenacious D into dnd up to 20th level sounds like a decent amount of work.
I was thinking of a Carmen San Diego build, and this almost satisfies what I was looking for, with exception to the assassin levels. Probably use thief instead, just not sure what artificer. This really captures Cad Bane well!
Didn't go so well when Jango got in melee range of Mace Windu. Or when Boba got in melee range of a drunk, blind Han Solo. These bounty hunters need to stay outta melee range.
I was having a really crummy day, where it felt like things kept going wrong, and then I open up a video with Tulok making a series of jokes about hats and I can't help but smile. Thank you for all of the hard work and love you put into your videos.
I'd actually put Cad Bane as Battle Smith artificer; he's proficient with guns (martial weapons) and T0-D0 is his steel defender (or homunculus "assistant".)
Surprised you didn't dip like two levels into Ranger for favoured enemy humanoids, archery fighting style, and Hunter's Mark. Not only is it thematically on point, it's got great synergy with everything else on here.
Bane was the first character that newer star wars introduced that I liked more than older characters. He really is a great character and they did him dirty in that Fett show.
Nice video as always. I was wondering if Tulok did made a build with an alchemist artificer before. I have my own artificer and I wanted to see, if I coud be inspired by some other fictional character build, but I dont think he ever used the alchemist before. Probebly for a good reason.
I'm really into Dungeons & Dragons and me and my friends started a campaign and I've been interested in the tv show lucifer and I was wondering if u had any idea on how to build Lucifer Morningstar
Do you think that maybe Flynn Carson from the Librarians would be too obscure for you to do a How To Play of? I could see them as either a Bard or a Warlock.
It would be awesome if you made Takeo Ischii as he is depicted in Chicken Attack xD could be challenging but if you make the animals a part of the party they could be monk/druids xD
When even the space wizards aren't capable to achieve something, who are you gonna call? Perhaps a certain cowboy looking alien can achieve the impossible (maybe even getting me a Tangle the lemur build from Sir Tulok?)... For the right price of course. Cad Bane is a Duros bounty hunter that will sell his vast array of skill, experience and lack of moral when you need a task to be done by the best, flourishing above other bounty hunters during the clone wars, doing work from kidnaping politic figures, stealing from Jedis your regular murdering and even tutoring others into his trademark ruthlessness for a work that demands such spirit when facing grim odds, having a target on your back 24/7 and having to anger people with glowing sticks of death. A firm grip is needed when the killing is your job, but try to not do it just because someone have a hat you like, I'm sure that with the money you get from corrupted evil lord's you can pay for a better one, then again, I get it, it would not be the same, isn't it?
Yoooo Also, I know you probably won’t see this, but could you maybe make some characters from Risk of Rain 2? Love ur vids and I’ve gotten really into the game recently.
I wonder what kind out class the Undertaker would be. He is a master of mind games and when you think he is out he just rises up. Anyone else thinks that he has URN-ED a character build.
Hey Tulok out of sheer curiosity, with Hadozee playable in Starjammer would you consider that more accurate for Goku and/or the other Saiyans or would you stick to Aasimar?
Personally, I would still say Aasimar. Other than the general monkey vibe, the Hadozee don’t really have anything “Saiyan-y”. The Aasimar also basically have the Super Saiyan transformation built in
@@fightingfalcon777 I gotta disagree. The glide is probably more true to Dragonball flying which when it debuted was more like slow falling. And Hadozee resilience to reduce damage really speaks to their martial ability imo. I can still see either but I'd like to think there's at least a case to be made for Hadozee.
could you PLEASE PLASE make yami sukehrio from black clover i think it would be so cool and i would appreciate it a ton have an amazing rest of your day and take care
Normally I'm not a fan of how basic some of the Star Wars names can be, especially in the prequel era. Cad Bane gets a pass, though. Because of his hat.
...super sentai has a cast of about 300 superheroes over 47 seasons to date. Better get on it soon or you'll never get through them all. My friends and I recently decided to check out the power rangers rpg from renegade games.
