Technically he has a pretty heavy American accent. Non-native English speakers tend to believe American accents are easier to understand due to growing up with American TV shows and the likes. Any accent would be considered 'heavy' if it isn't your native accent.
I just found this channel because I just bought a copy of Clans of Caledonia. I must say I like your video better than the ones Rodney Smith does (don’t get me wrong he’s great but this video is more concise and direct and I actually like that I’m not distracted by having to watch a person speaking into the camera at all).

Been eyeing this up on Board Game Arena with a mate. Feeling a lot more comfortable giving it a nudge after watching this. I still think it is going to take a couple or so games to really start getting my head around it, but it looks like my cuppa tea. Thanks for the video.

thanks again back at you :D I was able to find a way to get the game delivered (which could be a chore for us in Israel) and ordered it - waiting for the box to arrive in a few days. and you had to see the reaction of my friends when I told them - 'oh, and there is a video tutorial from the same person who made Burgundy tutorial' - they were like WOWYESPLEASE.
