While corrin cant wall jump, you can side b to pin a vertical wall such as the final destination version of some stages, and jump out of it, even if you used your double jump.
This Series has been the reason why I subscribed, when I get a switch I'll buy Super Smash Bros ultimate and I'll learn how to play the characters on this series!
This hurts: “Corrin is the first avatar character to not be fully human” (Fire Emblem fanboy alert) Technically Robin from Fire Emblem awakening has some of Grima’s blood, therefore technically making him (or her) a very small part dragon. But Corrin is the first avatar able to use dragonstones (without class change)
Well, technically Robin has the same blood as a dragon, but because his ancestor (forneos, don't know how to spell it) gave his blood to produce a dragon (Gríma) So Robin still is fully human, even though he was controlled
Corrin is probably my best character in this game (it varies day by day) and it's nice to see a neutral take on the character. Also, let's see Monado Boi next week.
Corrin is such an underrated character it's kind of sad. I really like corrin but everyone forgets corrin exists unless they are complaining about her ;-;
@@jordanmiller2265 the Reason for fate's sloppy story, is because the writers where trying to achieve too much with not enough time. Intelligents Systems had an idea for Fate to have three stories to appeal to everyone, but they realized that they didn't have enough writers. So they hired an outside writer, Shin Kibayashi was that writer. Nintendo wanted Shin to write the outline for each pathway, what happened instead is that Shin wrote 500 pages for each pathway. Nintendo knew this was too long so they cut the story into pieces without the writers permission and the fact the Nintendo demanded Fates come on the Fire Emblem Anniversary only made things worse. Which resulted in this hilariously mess of a story. The good news this that there is a manga based on Fates that is a little better. Its called Fire Emblem If: the Crown of Niberlung.
Male corrin, adrift male corrin, new years male corrin, female corrin, fallen female corrin, adrift female corrin, summer female corrin. So that is 6 Camilla, brave camilla, summer camilla, adrift camilla, new years camilla 5 for camilla Lyn, brave lyn, legendary lyn, summer lyn, bridal lyn, 5 for lyn
She/He has an insane juggle game with a nair capable of setting up fair juggles finishing with up air to kill or even her/his up special to go high risk but it will definitely finish after laddering them to the top. You can also set up juggles with up tilt which is also a great anti-air to even set up a kill juggle. You can also get stage control from getting things like fast fall nair to bair or up air. Specials are not great but he/she as a unique counter which has a hit box that covers all around them and launches vertically to set up into a kill or juggle. Overall, if you’re against opponents who can be abused in the air and are slow enough to get hit by juggle setups you will be at a huge advantage. A very unexplored and underrated character with some weird ass toes.
Finally! The most forgotten character gets a vid! Worth noting, her up B actually has some good force behind it, and can kill at decent percents. Corrin should be used as a juggle character similar to falco. Now we just need Gengar in smash!
Exactly. Corrin was my main character in Smash 4, and I got a bunch of shit and shade because I play Male Corrin. I'm not gay. I don't have a foot fetish. the red, blue, and green skins are just super dope. And I play Female Corrin sometimes too (the pink skin)
This is pretty good Chcotopus. I You did miss a few things though. But you mostly covered everything important I'm a Corrin main so this is pretty good to me
From a Corrin main, just ao y'all know: Down-Tilt pulls from the bottom and then launches up. This will stage spike and it's a good tool to use if your opponent likes to just hang out on ledge
So I’m testing out random characters doing my thing. BOOM CORRIN. Combos easily awesome! Good strings. Tilts pretty good. Corrin can pretty easily win my heart from the second I played him.
The down aerial is very effective due to being incredibly fast. I'd recommend never using it for off stage since as you said, it'll get you killed. But it does also lead into great combo potential. Also the corkscrew dash attack is also very effective for similar reasons. I tend to use these moves the most when I play Corrin due to the fact they're harder for people to deal with once you know how best to use them. That being said, thanks for giving a good coverage of Corrins moves. It's good to understand all the tools Corrin has to provide as a aspiring Corrin main.
Corrin is the only Fire Emblem character that I am familiar with because I've played Fire Emblem Fates. In fact, Fates was my very first Fire Emblem game.

@@orangeslash1667 Don't get me wrong, I appreciate the reason fates has a worse story than most FE games. But comparing Fates to the Tellius series or Sacred Stones, I'd choose them over fates any day. Especially given the ludicrous skills available in Radiant Dawn. Once you use Sol or Luna in Radiant Dawn, they feel positively weak in other games.
I am a Corrin main and i love playing this character in ssbu It feels soooo satysfying to play barefoot prince that is a human-dragon hybrid and has deaseased dad
Up special is risky but absolutely brutal if you land it. Also the down tilt air smash attack (where they drill downwards with a foot spike) is insanely fast and you can just make like Mario and stomp everything. It's also risky XD
Since Corrins up b buff she can now recover if you use it offstage but only if you activate it at the maximum height of her jump. Buffer her second jump during the drag down and immediately follow with up b. If done properly you can grab the ledge every time. However there is a good chance you will drag the opponent back up with up b as well, so still a somewhat janky option, but at least you can survive it now.
I was looking for a character to main that’s easy to use and I used corrin. After watching this combo video i see you doing things I naturally started doing my self. Down tilt into up air or n air. I hope I can get good enough for the online community once I change my nat type.
Thank you this will be so helpful for when I feel like I’m a god at smash but then get destroyed at a noob with 200 gsp thank you I love your vids EDIT: please do diddy kong for people that are totally not me hehe
I keep forgetting how effective the neutral air is with Corrin. Air attacks are definitely my style, I just have to no panic so I can actually use them correctly (I’m learning from the past experience of ✨button mashing✨)
i know how to play corrin. so basically on the character select screen, you're gonna want to make sure that you're using alt number 2, 4, 6, or 8. this is essential to correctly playing corrin. next, you are going to want to land with nair, much like Ike. thats about it
I love all of these. Just wanted to point out, you forgot to say that with the neutral B you can double press and hold if you want to just charge of the claw at any point. If an opponent is close enough the small stun that’s shot out will allow for a fully charged claw attack.
so I have played smash ultimate for approximately 225 hours according to my switch. I checked the battle data and I have not played a single match as this character.
I've mained Corrin since before Smash Ultimate released, and I gotta say, SHE, that's right SHE is my second favorite Fire Emblem character to play in Smash. Second to Lucina. And before you say anything, yes I said SHE because I prefer her female "alt" costume.
Would’ve been nice if he mentioned the frame 1 invincibility on the up B After watching the whole video I gotta say it was pretty good. It didn’t quite talk about more in depth things like the fact side b, down tilt, and f smash two frame. It didn’t talk about how nair is unsafe on shield. It didn’t mention up b’s kill power of the top. It also doesn’t really talk enough on corrin’s weaknesses. I also wish it mentioned the kill power of up air. Would be nice if they mentioned what happens on down air trades.
