I can't get my pinch harmonic on the 3rd fret to sound like that. I'm definitely doing a harmonic and I'm definitely in B tuning. Perhaps it's the pickups I'm using?
Ik this is 4 years later but change where you picking the string, like maybe more towards the bridge pickup or Vice versa. I mean where your doing the punch harmonic

Yeah bro, from my experience your gonna need one, but pedals are fun to have and their are a bunch of different kinds with different sounds out there, Amazon is your best bet.

So, for picking you put your thumb near the end of the pick so when you pick your thumb barley touches the string. It takes time to get good at it, all I can tell you is that you just need to practice
