Hi been playing this for years after my dad showed me how to play (40 years ago) ,he played this in his pub and said it goes back to 1940's but it should be SIX cards not 7 for the course. If the course was say 7 clubs then clubs CAN'T win as there are only 5 clubs left in the deck to draw. i play this a lot at 1940's events. Also if NO suit is on the track then that is the "Bookies favourite" and no one can bet on it this is how the "Bookie" hopes to not loose money.
What if there are no diamonds or clubs on the track? would they both be the bookies favorite or would the rule of bookies favorite not count this round?
we play with an additional rule where whenever all 4 aces have reached a certain point, you'd have to move one ace back depending on which suit is on the track. for example, once all aces have reached at least the 10 of hearts, you'd move the ace of hearts back one spot.
Hi i play this a lot at 1940's events as the "Bookie" and cover all bets but can be played without a banker , start of the game decide how much players have to bet then total it this is the "Bookies Purse" when gone game ends or all players have lose their starting money
Odds are show by the cards on the track 0 of a suit on course NO BET "Bookies Favourite" 1 of a suit on the course=odds 1/1 2 of a suit on the course=odds 2/1 3 of a suit on the course=odds 3/1 4 of a suit on the course=odds 4/1 5 of a suit on the course=odds 5/1 6 of a suit on the course=odds 6/1
What would happen if multiple people beer on the house that won? Would the winnings be split up between the people? Or works everyone won the same amount?
The higher the first number, the harder it is for that “horse” to win since there are less cards of that suit left in the deck. For example, there are 52 cards in the deck, minus the 4 aces already pulled as horses, so 48 cards left. There are 4 suits (so 48/4= 12 cards left of each suit.) If once he flips the other (6-7) cards, 3 are hearts, there will only be 9 hearts left in the deck and 6-7 are needed to win depending on the variation you’re playing. That’s more difficult for hearts to own as compared to a suit that one had 1 card pulled and has 11 chances to be flipped once the game starts.
This is glorious, I been tryin to find out about "today's horse racing and betting" for a while now, and I think this has helped. Have you heard people talk about - Cenaubraay Passionate Fanboy - (just google it ) ? Ive heard some amazing things about it and my brother in law got amazing results with it.
