A little later upload for the day but got this out as fast as I could, editing's taking a while while I'm trying to figure out how to structure random videos vs something more hero specific like this. Let me know what you think, what you'd like to see etc.! Also open to ideas on how to brand these videos as "informative" but still primarily entertainment
This was a great hero breakdown vid! I understood the plays you were making, pausing to look at the build made it cool to see how you were using it. That lifesteal in that last fight was huge
May this video absolutely pop the fuk off my liege. As far as I know this is your first actual guide since.... I don't know? evolve? maybe apex? I hope it does well so you can dabble in this kind of content as well. I like these kinds of videos. Fun + Informative is a combo that cant lose. I would also suggest perhaps a thumbnail with a caricature of the character or something that screams guide, and not be confused by your other videos?? Maybe like a chibi cartoonier version of the character or smthn. I know you have the artistic talent to do it my king
love these video, but id suggest you try to keep them evenly spread. maybe just regular upload, 1 deadlock video a week on a specific day or something. keep the variety in the middle but leave deadlock as the regular video?
13:23 No deaths/No kills is craaaazy. Also, Mr Fruit got most kills AND assisted on almost _half_ of every other kill his team got. Insane. 24:58 I heard it's best to always heavy punch the slot machines, btw.
@@spankyjeffro5320 Oh shoot bro, what character design have you made that surpasses it? Surely you've cooked up a multiplayer game that puts Deadlock to shame. Wait...you haven't made a game let alone a single character cooler? Rough
I really appreciated going over some of the key items and build goals as well as the abilities. As someone who isn't playing deadlock myself, it helps understand what's happening a ton. I also really enjoyed that part where you were talking through your thoughts as you played. I always dig you and your friends just having fun though, doesn't always need to be informative lol
Thanks Briar :) I'm trying to strike a balance of exactly what you said! Informative enough for people who don't play so they can have a better viewing experience, but also deep enough that players can take something away while also aiming to entertain above all else. I'm not sure I'll ever be able to perfectly juggle that but that's what I'm going to keep shooting for
I know it probably takes more time, but I really like you going over builds like with you talking about tank infernus. Kinda gives people an idea of what they might like. A sorta mini guide or something ya know?
Glad to hear that! :) Eventually I’d like to showcase specific builds too, some more niche or other ways to play people because there’s so many options but I figure for a general guide to just go with the most proven
I can't speak for everyone, but I love the character specific videos on a game I don't have access to. It really gets me invested in your gaming on them
Yeah!!! I was asking for guides a couple videos ago, and Infernus is the character I struggle the most with out of all the ones I want to play. This is perfect, thanks Fruit
I am so excited for this game and can't wait to catch up on your videos and see future ones, especially aboyt this game, thank you for everything you do 😄
You can double jump to get poke damage from your side of the lane as they retreat, it's not much, but at the start it's certainly something I abuse to make sure the opponent's HP stays wittled down.
Yeah I took out a part talking about how I try to lane simply by trying to keep burn up as often as I can but thought it might’ve been too self explanatory so I’ll keep that in mind for future
I'm glad you found something you truly enjoy, Mr. Fruit. It's nice to see you have a good time with the fellas. Love these vids, and just seeing you be happy. MEEEEETER FRRRROOOOT! Love ya, champ. ❤
Love the video format, Informative for the people looking to play the game, Fruit & friends for the long time viewers and some highlights as the cherry on top!
Really like the format of the character guide intro heading into highlights!! Made me feel like I understand what was happening in the gameplay highlights a lot more, and was helpful as someone trying to learn the game :)
I've liked all the Deadlock videos but thanks for the more detailed beginning. As an oldy that played Dota (I know super old) I like hearing the plan/thoughts behind the build. Love you King and remember F*** the haters.
Love how you structured this video, a run down of the abilities and items, then just intot he fun. that way a person like me who doesnt have he game, but wants to understand the basics, can. Keep it up my king
Finally snagged an invite and the game is a blast. Ive never played a MOBA before, but Ive played a lot of shooters, and this is scratching an itch I didnt know I had.
I think doing character specific videos where you talk about the build and their abilities would be really good to start. Since many of us don’t have access to the game it’s nice to know what’s going on. But later I think just gameplay or anything like that would be great too.
I just played my first games (never played, only watched MOBAs before), and lemme tell ya, it was ROUGH. So much happening, and my fingers/small hands aren’t as adept at pressing keys in an orderly and efficient fashion. Plus you got all the different abilities/items/builds to keep track of. Def overwhelming for me personally at first. Hopefully watching more of these games and some practice will help. Love the video
Mini guide format works well as well as some quick this is what the builds goal is, allows me to enjoy the gameplay more knowing what your trying to pull off
As a RU-vid red viewer and someone who hasn’t played deadlock, I still watched the whole video. We love you Fruit ❤ please don’t stop doing what you do (as long as you’re still enjoying making content).
it was a long time ago but you did mini montages at the beginning of your battlefield videos and those were always awesome and got me engaged off the get go. Dont know how difficult they are to put together but opening with that before explaining the heroes could be a nifty thing to change things up occasionally! either way, glad to see surgery recovery went (relatively) well and the recent videos have been great!
As someone who's both trying to learn the items and characters for Deadlock and as an enjoyer of Infernus' playstyle, this was exactly what I needed! I can only hope that you and the steam item builds will continue to teach me
I love the pace of this video. I think seeing different aspects of games give a lot of insight on how it works for people who may not know the genre that well
I enjoy when you explain what the characters do! Like how Infernus does DOTs and how the Goo guy can do the cube. Helps me understand what's happening 😌
I like the explanations as it helps you understand more what happens on screen, but I also like just seeing you frag. I will watch either way because your content is fire!
Hey Fruit, loving the Deadlock videos lately! Not sure if you’re planning on doing more “guide” type videos but one thought I had was it would’ve been nice to see the full game of one of the tougher games where you have to use game knowledge rather than clips and seeing the full game of a snowball. Know it’s fun to show off the best games but as a player who needs to learn it’s definitely more helpful to see how to turn a game around that I’m getting stomped! Regardless loving all the videos and excited to watch you play more deadlock!!
Just got stomped while playing infernus yesterday. Super appreciate the build talk and suggestions, definitely some awesome advice for playing from behind too!
I feel like if you showcased and ultimately graded each hero, the videos would be more insightful for those coming into playing the game. I don't have an invite but my heart aches for battleborn so I'll be checking this game out. That being said, you could approach it with a structure like: introduction to character, saucy comments about design/funny stuff, power overview. Then go over the different abilities and upgrades a character can get as you go through a match, perhaps highlighting what you felt worked and what didn't, so people can avoid the pitfalls of your early play :D Maybe through in sections between the matches where you highlight a specific move and just show fast and funny clips of you using it well (or failing, bc we all love a big goof). Good to see you up and recovered from the surgery and jumping into something fresh'n'fruity fun!
Late to the game but excited to get in and start building 😎 also 10/10 thumbnail decisions. Crisp design background contrast with the hero front center with abilities 🫡 and I bet it will look good in a playlist if you start more hero/build videos like this
Havent watched you in years man, nice to see you're having fun and making good videos :) best wishes to you for the future! Also I love Ivy, best character dont @ me
I LOVE these build videos. This is the type of league content I always wanted from fruit! Please keep it up! I can’t wait to finally get my PC up and running to play this game (note: recently moved, not building a PC).
Love this style mr fruit where you have the hero, play them in sandbox mode for the abilities, and then give us a summary of the game and then just immediately in with friends. This game is perfect for that and if there is one request i have it is MORE FEED ME MORRRREEE
Would love to see a video on a big scale where you explain the game as a whole. I overall understand what I’m watching… but I remember when you did a league video like that and really enjoyed it!
Been a subsciber for a long time and I want structure to videos. I think you have fun commentary and good ideas but having a structure that i cam easily predict and digest adds A LOT of value to me.
@@Mr_Fruit I like your breakdown on all the abilities in this video, and maybe you could add a couple highlights cut in of them in action from your matches. I think this was a good video but a little long by game 2. As far as structure just a setup like the old days of weapon reviews on destiny or even structured pokemon overwatch battles. A solid theme, well executed editing and a series feels like your strongest videos. I figured this workload is wild and I am thankful when you did them and revisited them often
