I Broke Deadlock With A Bebop Meme Build 

If you’re going to comment about this not being a “meme” build anymore and everyone using it now Imma stop you right there. I recorded this nearly 2 weeks ago, only ran into 1 person trying it which gave me the idea and the “meme” part too is ignoring almost everything and just rushing echo shard. Is it as meme of a build now? Apparently not, but from what I had seen discussed I had seen it regarded as a “meme” build - the games always changing and evolving so fast right now so I can’t guarantee things stay the way they are. I’ll be doing more meme builds that seem to be generally regarded more as a meme - but maybe those will eventually be seen differently too, the MAIN point of my Deadlock videos is entertainment. Thats it.

I enjoy Deadlock content more than I thought I would. I would love an early access beginners guide from you to understand what I’m looking at.

The funniest part, if you're good with bebop hooks, this builds is often just...better than gun build. The damage never falls off, and only continues to grow, and if you get double lane early, you double your bomb growth early on. It can quickly spiral completely out of control. I often have far more success with this exact build than any other one. One thing you can do to really increase it's power if you're up against a tough early, like Viscious, is buy Mystic Punch. The damage from grapple-punch is h e a v y, and often makes them panic cube early before bombing.

the scary part about this meme build is you can also strap bombs to your teammates. Bebop is a mechanized meme build waiting to happen, folks just found out how to do it *better* EDIT upon seeing the ending: Ivy + any character with an ultimate that keeps the user in place. ac-130 co-op antics ensue, from vaccuum cleaning with the professor to tazing entire parties with Seven.

My meme build has been maxing the range on the grab, becoming sniper bebop. It maxes out around 100m, and is always hilarious to grab someone in the other lane. One more fun gimmick I have started to use while in lane, attach a bomb to your minion, then uppercut it into the enemies.

I have never been into MOBA's (I am too afraid to play against anything but the AI) since there is so much to keep track of. You make this look easy, Mr Fruit - and a lot less scary the way you have been breaking down the characters with their own videos. Keep up the good work 😊

As a roadhog...connoisseur, Bebop just scratches that itch

One tip I can give you for this “meme” build is that you don’t HAVE to attach the bomb directly to the hero you want to hit. The damage bonus procs even on the aoe hit, right?…..SO……attach the bomb to an enemy (or ally melee) minion or ally hero diving in. “But the range is so short. How will I get the enemy hero to walk into the bombed minion?” THAT’S THE NEAT PART! You don’t! You uppercut the minion into the enemy hero like a damn trebuchet. 😂

Something I really like to meme about in this build is you can put the bombs on allies. Me and a friend ran a heat seeking missile combo. I double bombed him playing as Yamato and he would use the 2 to get in and absolutely nuke them. Best part is it makes debuff remover useless for the enemies.

McGinnis has some pretty fun builds. McGunnis - I personally like Tesla Bullets + Intensifying Magazine + Sharpshooter, then filling with utility options like Toxic Bullets or Crippling Headshot depending on how I need to melt an enemy team. Works really well on structures. It's also funny to go Frenzy + Imp Spirit Armor or Escalating Resilience + Imp Bullet Armor and regularly have 75%+ resistance to a damage type. Crippling ult - Mystic Reverb on R with its upgrade makes it slow by 85%, which is basically a one-button "you can't escape." Infinite ult -Heavy Barrage's cooldown continues to tick down while channeling it, so it's possible to get it to last basically as long as its cooldown with the various duration and cooldown items. Turret army - Something of note: Rapid Recharge + Superior Cooldown + Spiritual Overflow + Soul Rebirth + Diviner's Kevlar results in ~70% reduced cooldown for turrets, or 28 -> 8.75. With Superior Duration, this means one can have up to 7 turrets active at the same time. Pair this with Heroic Aura (the passive portion and active portion affect turrets for +65% fire rate) and you're looking at close to 2000 DPS.

The beauty about this build is that you can pivot to it depending on how the early game goes. If you are looking pretty fed, you can take the risk and save for echo shard early. Otherwise, you continue to build as normal, and prioritise a safer item curve.

The build is not even a meme. Since I first saw it a few days ago, the build has rapidly become the most common Bebop build I see online. You do need a good laning phase to get Echo Shard early, but if your laning phase is rough you can always delay Echo Shard for more intermediate items, or just pivot into a completely different build instead.

One of the best quotes, "Meme at your own discretion." Truly wise words.

Double bomb is a fun build. It feels like a meme but most bebops I see in deadlock use it.

the issue with double bomb bebop is that his damage is delayed. characters with in-built "stasis" like dynamo and pocket can avoid the burst entirely not only that, but debuff remover clears the bombs entirely, which hard counters the whole build for 3000g (or 4250 w/o debuff reducer)

As far as “meme builds” go, I’ve heard of one where Kelvin can basically be skating in the sky box forever while raining down grenades on the enemy. I don’t know the details, but give that one a look. I call it the “IC-130 Kelvin”.

First time I tried this build I played against a Viscous, Pocket, and Ivy...for those who don't know they can all go invincible for a brief time which means the bomb doesn't technically hit them even though it's stuck to them and yea...miserable time lmao Game after that one was amazing tho, super fun build for sure

For future reference, when you hook someone, you can move to the right or left and get an angle that either sends them back down the lane or to the side into a wall when you punch, instead of punching them back down the lane, this is WAY easier to secure kills

Stack fire rate&damage + resistance shreds when spirit damage is done because of here (3), and put silver reload (the spirit item) on the dagger for Haze, and you can burst a full mag, sleep dag em, then finish them off immediately with ANOTHER full clip. It gets nuts. grakatatatatatatatata, search my crappy build with Grineer or Vaneer as the keyword for context/evaluation.

A fun meme build I've had with Viscous is getting his Fire Rate as high as possible. There's something about his sludge gun shooting at a million miles an hour that's so fun and derpy.

For an alpha build, this seems pretty damn polished. Loving the character-focused videos as they help me understand what's happening in the gameplay. Keep 'em coming!

Try the bepbop ult build. Imbue your ult with superior cool down, superior duration, and leach and you cant die and you just can melt the other team. It doesn't work well if they have a vicious or someone that can cancel your ult like ivy, but when it works, it WORKS

Fun thing i learnt, mcgunnis has innate spirit resistance, and that STILL does not save her from bebop.

I have been messing around with a life steal Mcguiniess build where her turrets never die and keep healing you making you a god.

a fully just melee based abrams completley kicked my shit in the other day, build felt unique to go agianst and was extremely potent with lifesteal and charged heavy melees

I've been trying out ways to do full spirit/spell Vindicta. Just started the game and love trying silly playstyles. Right now my favorite is to spam crow, then molotov active item and lock everyone inside it with stake and watch them burn.

You gotta try anomi's biden blaster gray talon. Its essentially sending out gray talon's ult every 30-40 seconds to cross map someone for half their hp or instsntly kill them. Anomi even made a video showcasing the build and its my favorite way to play deadlock, even if its not siper efficient.

Mr. Fruit if you want to try a meme build for McGinnis try mine: Big Gun Shoot Long Time. Titanic magazine to get ~160 bullet mag minigun + quicksilver reload to instantly refill the magazine on ability activation so you can shoot for 300+ shots without stopping. Absolutely melts.

Best meme build is tank Veigar in mid lane on league of legends just full armor, and magic resist. The ones that have bonus effects like hp, hp regen, mana, and cooldown reduction then the invinvible little fker permanantly gets more ap per enemy champion you hit add that to the dark harvest rune for extra stacks and gathering storm to get extra ap as the match runs on

The “marshal art” of sticking explosives to people

Bomberman build is a ton of fun. The amount of harass from punching bombed creeps into the enemy during laning phase with mystic burst is enough to jearly instantly kill a wave.

Ive been using that build since is tarted palying the game and had no idea it was a meme build XD. Ive been having alot of fun and success with it, just gotta get pass that early game and buying the reset item then youre good. Also putting two bombs on a minion and punching it into their team is a whole lota fun

My favorite bebop build is infinite ult. Most games you'll get the ult cooldown to like 12 seconds (if you don't end ult early) but it is 100% possible to get the ult to last longer than the cooldown lol.

Ya this content does it for me and idk why. I bet getting a massive Kelvin ult with their team trapped with this build would be horrifying.

If you want stupid meme builds, I'd check "anomi's" builds. The Gray Talon Biden Blaster (owl predator missile) and Sleepy Time Haze. I've yet to get Sleepy Haze to work, but the stupid Owl build has worked for me WAY more than it should've

Remember if you turn quickly right as you hit a hook you can punch them any direction you want like roadhog turns in overwatch

You don't need a hook to engage either. At late game, run up, double bomb, punch into air, hook back, punch into air again, then ult, you will kill anyone.

I see beebop in my worst nightmares, he always drags me through walls as i peacefully and innocently try to farm. I'm so traumatised by the bomb sound i black out whenever i hear it. Please god stop him from having hooks every 5 seconds it's very balanced.
