Was going through old my old CD-s and took along CCR's hits. Spent couple of weeks with kids and... when that song came out from the speakers in the car, two daughters were screaming on back-seat: "Again! Again!" Another good deed for the day, I say! Now i am obliged to learn it on guitar AND to sing along... Thanks

@@partymartyeasyguitartunes1711 Additional aspect is that couple of days later they discovered Queen's "Bohemian Rhapsody" (well thanks to me of course). And this is sight for sore eyes when a 2.5 years old little rascal is trying to break the rules and garden-gate while humming the "simple" part of the song: "Mamma mia, mamma mia le'mme gooo!" Well, she got out of the yard.And at that point i decided to draw a line - i do not have the musical education nor skill... and if anyone, including one of my daughters wants me to play piano and pull the stunt on Wembley.... Sorry! ... I will buy a yamaha and give my best.... so far they've been satisfied with my layman-strumming/outoftune.humming :)

Really like this song hope you do more oldies but goodies , love the the upbeat ones. Just one little thing I think will help me a lot. When you teaching the strum can you say down or up when your showing the strumming?? It is hard to tell sometimes . I think it was down , down down up down up. Correct. Thanks for all you work.

Kim Allender That is correct. I tell people to not get too hung up on the theory of strum pattern, as you get more comfortable with the chords and the song, try to make it your own a little. Good luck and thanx for tuning in.

+Propagandhi900 Yes I play this song with different lower chord progression that I transposed which is a common tool for experienced musiciansas used quite often. I, as well as most, cannot sing like Fogarty. I'm afraid I'm not that gifted which is why I transpose the chords to fit my voice, good luck in whatever key you play in, thanx for tuning in

I'm not quite sure why you'd need a mandolin? The end of the song involves a key change so you could map out the chords, take the audience through it, then finish the song that way. Right now it kind of just stops without any of that happening...

@@GKFC Anyone who knows chords which they must know if they are using this as a tutorial know that he's using the Roman number system. That is to say he's using 'I-vi-IV-V-I'. You can easily modulate chords how you see fit. He doesn't have to teach the modulation.

Why not cover the entire song including the modulation? What to play, what it goes from / to. Seems rather empty without that.

Thanx, the reason My singing sounds good to you is because I've transposed the songs chords to fit my voice, which is why I am using the chords I do and also to make it easier to play, hence the channel name, "PartyMarty EasyGuitarTunes" hope that explains it
