This was a fun one. You did a nice job singing it man. I have to sing it an octave down too. Paul’s vocals on that track are absolutely ridiculous. Live too. I can’t even imagine what it would feel like to sing that well 😂
I found you a few weeks ago and although I have always been proficient at chords, so could always look at a chord chart and play, your arrangements have really helped my playing and made playing piano a lot more fun for me. I love a lot of the songs you pick too. I’d love to see you do an arrangement of Operator by Jim Croce 🙂
Thank you for this video, Nate. I'm only a beginner on keyboard and starting very late in life. Your piano playing abilities are incredible and the way you interpret and explain every intricate detail of Paul McCartney's song is fascinating. This is way beyond my capabilities at this time, but I hope to progress at least to somewhere towards such a standard of playing. One thing strikes me, though. That when you have highlighted every little detail in the song, what a clever and melodic songwriter Paul McCartney is. But I think we have all known that for what is now decades.
Great to hear from you! And I totally agree...year after year, decade after decade, as I've developed as a musician I keep being more impressed with the depth and mastery of Paul's (and The Beatles in general) music
This was great! I love your videos and they have really helped me get back into piano! She’s always a woman or vampire would be really cool ones to do. I just finished learning let it be. Thank you Nate!
I have completed hey Jude …I’m nearly finishing imagine…and then going on that one 😅thanks Nate please think of doing my love by wings and of course I will remind again lol 😅 we need your version of lady Madonna …🎉in Nate we trust 😊
Just discovered your channel yesterday and it’s excellent in song lists and the high quality of your tutorials - thank you! Please consider adding two songs that I enjoy very much to your list of requests: Sad Lisa by Cat Stevens; and the folk song Shenendoah. I hope one day to play the Keith Jarret version, but for now the way you would like to play it. In fact, consider creating a new playlist for popular folk songs, or just through one in occasionally.
From all the piano tutorials, yours are the ones that I can watch all the way through and actually learn the songs! I was wondering if you could do a tutorial for the song Honesty from Billy Joel?
Thanks Nate, I look forward to learning this one. Also, I wondered if you were going to give us a Xmas song to learn so we can show off to our families on Xmas day ! Fairy Tale of a New York would be great, if you can find someone to duet with :)
@@PianowithNate I’ve enjoyed learning this one, and, as always , your version is true to the original. However, I think it also sounds very cool as a soft ballad, rather than going crazy in the chorus like the original ! Here I am, second guessing Paul McCartney 😅
Hi Nate! I've seen plenty of tutorials, but I think yours are the best so far. Seems so simple, yet sounds so great. It would be amazing to see a tutorial from Little Black Submarine by The Black Keys or Say It Ain't so by the Weezer. Thanks a lot! And keep up your amazing work:)
Amazing tutorial really captured the feel of the Song, and encouraging improvising further lends to the tutorial 👍with the passing of Shane I can feel a Yule tide tutorial 🤔
I would use it the whole time! Just be sure you do a pedal lift anytime you play a new chord. Watch this video if you need help with that: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-GetYKdfLbgE.htmlsi=rADb9stZceAj6-IT
