There's a few options in terms of amps, something like a Blackstar Fly 3 would be good as a starter for only about £60, or you could also get a Boss Katana Mini for a little more (around £90). If you wanted to splash a bit more you could go for a Fender Champion 20 which is a decent starter amp (you can get them second hand for under £100). For guitar I would probably recommend looking at Yamaha's lineup, they have some great option for under £250!
