Hey Shok. I just recently discovered your channel and I gotta say it’s incredible. You are definitely helping me out a lot and I wanted to thank you for that:). I was just wondering if you could do a champion guide for Sylas. I’m trying to pick him up and I appreciated the detail of your other guides massively. Thx for the great work and keep it up :).
Good one! Thanks a lot, that’s exactly what I needed −−> Goals according to my state in the game & champion identity + optimal stuff with examples. Nice !
The mid game explanation that you said may not be useful is incredibly helpful! The why gives more importance to internalizing and understanding. It was exactly what I’ve been looking for. Amazing video!
What if you're the only one that's fed how do you play? I feel like if I get shut down once the game is over but I can't really do anything by myself cause my team needs to catch up on gold and exp. If we fight we lose should I catch waves myself or let them catch waves?
If you lose when fighting then you just try catch some kills here and there and farm as much as you can. Sounds like the game would be pretty hard to win though
What should i do as syndra in the mid game/late game? beacuse she doesnt like to side lane like other mid champs i play im a bit confused about what my specific champ goals in the mid game are.
damn this was super informative!!! Couple of questions: 1. If i’m ahead as mid and my team is araming grouped as 4 (cuz low elo) and no objective is coming up should I go to the side lane that is more pushed out to create pressure to prevent 4v5 mid or should i go to the side lane that’s more pushed in/closer to me knowing i will get more farm 2. I have a lot of games where one of the top laners is perma splitting/side laning but the other top laner is just perma grouping/araming. For example Fiora players tend to side lane but Mundo players more often just group in my elo. In this case since my team is 3v5 mid, If i’m playing a champ that likes to side lane and prefers to not team fight should i go mid to help alleviate pressure or should i go side lane to get more ahead and do what feels best for my champ? A lot of my mid game scenarios is that I find my games erupting in perma fighting with people just spawning out of base and going mid until they die and rinse and repeat so I’m wondering when I should consider side laning vs grouping in these situations
1. Go to the one that's more pushed in, you can get more farm and make sure your team doesn't lose pressure as the wave crashed on your tower. 2. Depends what you can offer to your team, if you can provide disengage/waveclear it'd be fine to group, if you don't really provide anything then you should just split instead. It is hard to find a balance between splitting and grouping, try stick to side laning fundamentals and you'll at least come out of it with enough farm to carry the game regardless of what your teammates are doing.
I feel like at the early game everyone knows what they have to do. Go to your lane, farm while you can until first turrets start to go down. What changes game to game is ganks and trades with your different matchups, but preety much you know what to do. After 15 min shit just go random crazy and people don't even know what to do to close the game. Sometimes they don't even want to. My team wins a big fight that is totally gg and they want to go dragon instead, or we are invading the base and instead of rushing for nexus they want to go to the other inhib or go base to finish it out with full build or anything else just for fun or whatever. These are late game examples but mid game is a mess in low elo and even being better at everything until then already (been learning from your videos and others too), i can't seem to have a clear checklist for what to do. Even when i DO know, i can't figure out how to make my team do it, so its a coinflip per minute down here. Is there any checklist/template of what can i do to change this? Even if is not optimal, can i have a guideline of steps to scape this for now so i can improve it further later?
Honestly, I feel like people don't know what they are doing at all stages of the game. I think forcing your team to do stuff in the mid game just isn't going to work most of the time, so carrying the mid game will mostly be about playing teamfights well and finding lots of gold/xp from sidelanes.
this is not just a mid lane guide this is an insanely good mid game guide in general. I would've paid at least $10 for this and i rarely spend money on anything ever
love the vid! what happens if things like mid tower falls first? do u just push and roam and help side laners/invade jngl? What do u do if your bot laner just perma stays bot. i usually see if bot is hard winning or hard losing they just stay bot forever how much does the macro change if both your top and mid have no tp and they have tp? didnt actually finish the vid (will do later!) so if u answered them later on you can just ignore this.
I can't remember if I answered this honestly, but yeah if you kill their mid tower it gives you a ton of time to impact the map in a variety of ways. If they stay bot forever then just stay mid, even if it's suboptimal assignments it's the way you'll get the most gold/xp
Would love to see this video updated or at least some sort of update comment from you in this vid, as the increased durability on Jungle camps for non-junglers change a lot
Why are adc and support good in mid lane during mid game? Why can't they just play in mid lane from the start? I want to know the exact reasoning behind this.
Good question! Mainly because mid lane champions tend to be very gankable so they need a shorter lane to survive the early game, you could put mid and support bot, but then you'd have your mid laner sharing XP, although this does happen with some mage champs bot like Ziggs, Syndra etc.
@@ShokLeague no no, I'm trying to ask why duo can't play mid and let actual mid play bot or top? I think support and adc can do much more work right from the start of the game (as they are in middle of the map). Am i wrong here? Anyways thank you ❤️
@@mehtabsidhu8898 Ye ye I get what you're asking, the mid laner can't really survive bot in the early game because the lane is too long, most mid champs are gankable and weak at extended trades early which is why typical mid champs suck top lane as well. I think if there were a mid laner that could solo bot and not fall behind you probably would see the ad and supp go mid
This idea is super interesting to me too! I actually did try this in flex a few times tho and the one champ I found that can go bot solo is Heimer but it depends situationally. You have to be against a weak adc and an engage/enchanter support cuz then heimer can actually 2v1 them inside his turrets if they force. in those games my support would perma roam starting level 1 and I would just 1v2 lane. The counter to solo heimer bot is champs that outrange him like Lux support. I’ve had games where I just straight won lane off the heimer bot and took first tower 2v1. Stuff like Ezreal/Leona feels super good to play against as Heimer.
