Im dropping you a sub, i peeped out a few of your vids, and i must say, as a fan of Curtis for the past 2 years, your content is CRIMINALLY underrated for league, so much more detail than the average "tips and tricks for mental" or "tips and tricks for soloq" video
Can confirm that mute all improves my winrate by 10-15%. If (and that’s a big if) I can treat others as NPCs, it goes up even more. This one is tough though.
Hey Shok awesome video as always, especially always playing at 100% throughout the game is huge and this topic overall feels greatly underrated. Keep it up!
I really needed to hear this. I’m so glad and grateful for seeing this. Shok, you’re next up dude, honestly your content should be priced.. how is this all free
This is so fucking helpful. I want to reach challenger, currently im platinum. But I really think that everybody can achieve that. And mindset is where it all starts. I really do have problem with tilt and emotions. I need to be more stoic and play for improvement rather to play to win.
I was playing an off meta pick support and got flamed at the start of the game due to the adc not seeing a gank coming and just standing there waiting to die. When they started to complain about my pick for no reason I just typed "ok, sorry", muted all and did my own thing. After the game was done they added me just to say "sorry for being rude to you mb gg". So i think I'm gonna start muting all as soon as toxicity starts, it seems to work out in the end.
I've been doing the 3 block as it's fit well with my schedule but, sometimes I want to play more (unless I lose all 3 lol). To clarify, you think as long as you take a 5 minute break and removed tilt you can keep queuing up? Is there a range of games you recommend or just as many as you can do with full focus and intensity?
I think 5 minutes can be enough, but maybe you could make it longer if you found like you were fatigued as well. I think it's different for everyone, I feel like everyone starts to see diminishing returns 5 or 6 games in but just do as many as you feel like you can focus in.
my advice isnt to turn chat off but rather mute everyone's text when u get in game, this way u can still communicate your thoughts but dont need to see any of their text. also think turning off all chat is more important/safer as all-chat never has anything useful that u need to know, yes team chat is more toxic, but teamchat has infinitely more useful things than all-chat. i personally think it's more 30-40-30, maybe even 25-50-25. Ofc this is heavily flawed as if faker was playing iron he would have an insane wr
not really the right video but since you are a lucian enthusiast I wondered if your prefered built (galeforce collector seryldas) changed due to last patch. I haven't done any testing but just on paper I thought maybe switching out the collector with ER and build atks boots instead of ionans.
Honestly think the collector build is really good, you can do that build with attack speed boots if you want. ER is an option for sure against tankier teams.
what about team comps , like i play in silver- gold people just sometimes completely ignore team compositions . like no frontline etc… what can i do in these situations
What do you think would work if I try to play smart but end up from time to time just bleeding out slowly and losing due to just not getting strong enough off farm and fights
@@ShokLeague I average 7.5cs/min so I definitely should focus more on it (I'm d4) but I'm having hard time finding enough time to farm amidst the constant fighting and people not really liking to sidelane as mid
Yea it's definitely hard to have consistently high cs in solo queue. 7.5 average is pretty good though, maybe see how you're playing teamfights because it seems like you have enough gold to carry but maybe aren't using it well enough.
@@ShokLeague Do you happen to know a person who plays ad who I could learn from? Someone who speaks english and talks about what they think during games?
