/ @nickfoleyuk Good morning all, how are you ?
Its shaping up to be a beautiful summers day here in England so I nipped out to the studio before the rain started to produce this weeks video for you.
We have literally one request for me to give you my interpretation of Deep Purple's Mistreated. A classic songs from the first album of the Mark 3 Deep Purple lineup and featuring David Coverdale singing alone and some marvellous guitar work from Ritchie Blackmore. Live this was a staple and a killer tune.
So here we go, my interpretation of this classic I hope that @Rigbysalad and co enjoy...

You're a kind man going to the trouble of making these videos and sharing your knowledge, secrets & tips. Great video, AWESOME sound. I think an amazing recording of a hammond organ solo would have to be from the Uriah Heep album Very 'Eavy Very 'Umble. The track..GYPSY. 53 years ago this album came out. I can remember being mesmerised by the solo as a 12 yo. Still does it today. 🤣👍👍 Laurens is probably spinning in his grave. RIP

Jeah, aside DP / Jon Lord, I've always liked the UH / Ken Hensley playing Hammond on those early records, but also early Santana too with Kreg Rolie.
