When I was a teenager taking guitar lessons , I asked my teacher to help me learn a song called Beatin Around The Bush by AC/DC .. he heard it and said it was from a Fleetwood Mac song

A drummer here who loves guitar but could never hear this stuff well enough to pick it out... The athletic kid who could just kind of sit down and make a backbeat feel good...There of course is an enormous amount that Iearned by watching good drummers... I tried guitar in a band but didn't really understand the harmonic and melodic content... Your tutorials have put me back on guitar again so thank you... I can only imagine being a young guy with a tutorial like this.... There are a million and one places to use these licks in blues/rock if you do the work and nail them... well done well done

I’m not a guitarist so not looking for a tutorial, but wow - that was a joy to listen to all the way through - many thanks dude! I was 15 years old in 1969 when this song was released and have loved it ever since - you have brought an increased clarity to it - now gonna check out your other stuff! All the best, Dave Robinson, London UK

This is the sort of music I cut my teeth on and, I know I've said this a few times already, your relaxed technique, style and overall ability is what made me want to play guitar in the first place. Scott Gorham, Paul Kossof, Ritchie Blackmore, Peter Green (of course), Gary Moore, Mark Knopfler, Rick Derringer, Rory Gallagher, Mel Galley, Peter Frampton, David Gilmour, o.k. Brian May, I can't deny the influence, Angus Young, Ronny Montrose, Ted Nugent (The Mad Axeman), Brian Robertson, Brian Setzer, Steve Stevens, Andy Summers, Joe Walsh, Johnny Winter .................... these are the people who inspired me ............. you are cut from the same block, respect to you. Thanks for your inspiration too.

Happened to come across this video. Excellent presentation. Have played this song many, many times over the years. Found out I have been playing two wrong notes. Listened to the original recording again. Sure enough. Watched a couple other of your videos to see how accurate I am on some other songs. I learned all these tunes off of vinyl back when they first came out. Changed a couple other licks as well. Glad to get this information. Even at my advanced age still love learning something new. The journey of music never ends. Excellent playing and tone. Thanks Man.

Your channel is one of my favorite tutorial channels. Because of the tempo. Not for absolute beginners but they have alternatives. And your sound is good. Sometimes people explain a rather difficult lick, recorded with a crappy telephone microphone. Don’t change your approach to the tutorials please. And thank you for great lessons!

fantastic song and one of the greatest guitar riffs of all time. Its definitely one of those riffs that sounds much easier than what it is in my opinion. Sure its not groundbreaking hard, but its definitely tricky to put together especially with those up picks at the end of the riff each time round and the descending line .

This is an awesome lesson! My opinion of the E Lick Block is that it is the first and most accessible figure on the neck. The iterations of the 'Oh Well' lick are endless! One hit after another and endless hours at the ends of the fingers of anyone getting familiar with the guitar.
