These aren't jazz chords Nicki sweetie. They are pop chords. Everyone must learn these basic changes before they can learn 9th's 11s and 13s. Plus sharp and flat 5s, 9s, 6s, 11s and polychords then altered. I've been teaching guitar and piano 45 years. I believe in being realistic so I don't sugarcoat anything. Music is simple! There are 12 notes. If you can count to 13 you got it! You are an excellent guitar instructor. Quite lucid and easy to understand. The most important thing in teaching beginners is to instill in them a feeling of confidence and courage and inspiration. Music is spiritual energy. It can heal disease fix broken hearts and lead us to God; to peace on Earth. It can also be a negative evil poison. Stevie Wonder and David Sancious are two of the best to be inspired by. Train your ears folks, then you will be able to play anything just by hearing it Yes!! You will!! Buy an old turntable and vinal record albums. We might have to hand crank our record players again some day.
First verse played in context 7:46-8:24 Helps to hear it through before starting the lesson. Eb add 9, Cm7, Fm7, Bb7 / Eb add 9, Cm7, F (a in bass) , G(b in bass) / C, G (b in bass), C, G (b in bass) / Cm7, F7, Bb7
Very cool! Everyone knows tevie's a genius but until you actually try tp play his stuff you really have no idea just how much of a genius he really is!
I bought TWA about two years ago ...I put the four magnet stand inside...and then placed the tonewood amp on the back with blue tape...it does not stick on mine like yours ....so it falls off during performance and it has all this blue tape on the back of my guitar( its a visual mess!).....do I need a different stand inside the guitar...things just seem out-of-balance......
you put your first finger on the third fret of the a string and then you put your third finger on the fifth fret of the d string and put your second finger on the fourth fret of the g string and your fourth finger on the fifth fret of the b string and then you have a c major seven cord.....(blablabla bla blabla)................. this is sooooo frustrating to watch and takes ages. it would also have been nice to put a playthrough of the whole arrangement at the beginning
The mistake I see is you started teaching without playing what you are asking us to play with you. It would've been better if you played it first. Other than that you are a good guitar teacher....Thanks
Could you please spell out your email address. I certainly would like to learn more songs/chords from you. You are an excellent teacher! It takes a teacher to recognize a teacher! Lol😀
