Quick question why do the fling units have 280 speed that's easily double the normal speed

Saurus Warriors! I know the Temple Guard are better in every way (and the Starchamber Guards even more) but thanks to their availability, the common Saurus carries half the campaign. They're strong and tough, and best of all don't run from anything. They're cool to look at and fun to watch fight. I usually prefer ranged units and cavalry, but I keep coming back to Lizardmen for those brutal frontline clashes.

Interesting I love the saurus warriors with shields and it ts sad to replace them with temple guard. Maybe you have a point. In the multiplayer campaigne which i play right now i will take 4 blessed saurus warriors with shields togehter with templeguard (regular and RuR) lets see which performs better. This sounds like what Lizardmen should use for seige armies. I usually put my armies in one of three categories: Regular, Reinforcing (cav, air and other fast stuff only) and Seige (at least 8 wall infantry) Lizardmen can also use solar cannon bastiladons to blow out a wall and just rush in their dinosaurs, though.

Perfect vigor is the most retarded and unfair bullshit especially for a monster... And I love every minute of it

I do feel you have some tightening up of your gameplay to do, your target acquisition could use a little work namely artillery disruption. Its okay if you think you can just tank the hits but overall its an improvement to make that helps a lot (especially in MP.) As for campaign I think you can work on making your armies cheaper but more effective overall to help people who arent economically the best or tend to lose provinces. For example if you take feral cold ones and stick them as an escort to horned ones, carnosaurs or any dino they're extremely effective because they get to flank will actually do a ton of damage when attacking in the back with their charge bonus, which will quickly terror-route the enemy and they can chase the unit off. For their price its an option that cant really be beat. This prevents a higher tier unit from using up their vigor and losing more models later, and the better unit can immediately turn and fight something else while the feral cold ones run mop-up duty the rest of the match. Terradon riders can be used identically- although the fireleech bolas are indeed better campaign units. Same thing with the various skink skirmishers- they can toss in damage to demoralize enemies that are getting crushed by your temple guard or dinosaurs and then run them off since they outspeed just about all other infantry. Taking ranged fire does a lot to drop morale. Or specifically chameleon skinks. Yes they dont hit as hard as the other massive missile units but they are exceptionally good at ambushing archers, also being able to precision target poison debuffs(Which do last long enough to keep two units poisoned by alternating targets with their very fast reload) is a great thing. Its pretty funny watching Chosen struggle against Ssaurus warriors because they just arent hitting for much damage and keep getting shot in the back. In all examples there is a case to be made for going cheaper actually being more effective- Yes you can upgrade to better units but mixing in ones in their specific niche that arent at the top end of the tech tree is an under-emphasized skill I think you could bring people up to speed on. I'm not trying to be too critical because of how good I think your content is overall, just some tips to help make it consistently better.

What does your army normally consist of? If you want we could start a co-op campaign and i could help you play through? The lizardmen aren't my favourite race, but i have beaten a campaign with them on legendary/very hard, so i know most of the tips/tricks. Early game, the skinks with javelins are a solid unit to spam. Saurus warriors are solid as well, the basic skink cohort is basically useless though, always better to go javelins. Kroxigors are an excellent damage dealer, just keep them as a second line so they don't get targeted by ranged on the approach, then send them in when your front line is engaged. The lizardmen cavalry are absolutely awful compared to most races, this is partly because of the rampage mechanic, and their relatively slow speed for cav, I wouldn't recommend recruiting any. The cameleon skinks are actually a pretty good unit, due to their missile resist and poison skirmish attacks, but you need to pay attention to them to use them effectively. Basic terradons are trash, but the terradons with fireleech bolas are extremely useful. Their monsters are all extremely good, generally go for stegadon over bastiladon. The basic stegadon (not the feral one) is one of the best units in the game. Has extremely long ranged attack and excellent in melee too. If you wanted to, you could have an army of just these with a life mage and it'd beat almost anything. Speaking of magic, a mage is worth taking in almost every race and lizardmen are no exception. Recruiting a skink priest of heavens can do insane damage. The most consistent spell in that lore is chain lightning so get that as fast as you can. Earlier on wind blast can be very useful as well. Just wait until the front line of your units are engaged then find a nice blob of enemies and cast it on that. Just be careful of chain lightning because it can hurt your units too and it's movements are random. However, it is worth using. In terms of campaign, skaven are very good at ambushing exposed armies. So almost never used forced march into enemy territory. If you're having trouble with a particular army, you can set up an ambush of your own. Just make sure you're not too close to anything when setting it up, either an enemy hero/settlement or army can spot ambushes if they're too close. A good way to bait enemy armies into the ambush is to recruit a new lord nearby with no units. Move him within striking range of that enemy army, and put him in forced march. This is to act as bait. Then move your actual army next to him in ambush stance. The enemy will see the exposed lord in forced march and can't resist killing him, but when they try, your ambush springs. Let me know if there's anything in particular you want to know.
