@@toastedt140 I was honestly surprised how good the game is with 4 players. It has pretty simple rules but if you mix it up with the board and the players switch seats every now and then, it's very varied for its simplicity. It's not a "play all night" game, but definitely always a "lets play a few rounds" game.

Played this at my buddy's cabin with four friends, we all had a really good time! If you aren't plotting between turns and working to turn your allies against their ally's ally, you're doing it wrong.

One question my friends and I had: Can you Tentacle attack over empty spaces? For example, we built our ship in a random way for our second time. This resulted in gaps between Uk'otoa and certain pirates (based on general positioning and crazy pathing). In other words, is the entire tentacle required to be on the ship?

I just want I'm a huge tabletop fan and have amassed quite the library of small box games and couldn't have been more excited to see you guys drop something new like this, I've been a huge fan of the show for years and I think it's a good concept for a small box game. I can easily see taking this to the pub with a few friends, teach them how to play before the drinks get to the table and have a few laughs. My honest critique would be that the meeples are quite contrasting against the tile set and the Ukatoa model, I believe a more generic simplistic design for the sailors would be better or atleast meeples in the same theme/detail as Ukatoa. Other than that i can't wait to see more stuff like this in the future from you all!.

What happens if only one of your factions survives? Do you still win or is that a win for Uk'otoa?

Considering, I presume the win condition is when the board is down to only 2 factions left, then if one of the factions is yours, then either you win, or the other person who shares that faction with you does. I do wonder what happens if two 'opposite corner' factions are the last remaining. though. Edit: Nice, the rules are available online. In that situation, the game would keep going until there was only one faction left, and the two players that controlled the last faction would have a shared victory.
