How to play warlord [ Hero guide 2023] For honor 

A cool thing you can do with warlord is a sort of "tech" with full guard: you can smoothly and directly dodge forward when you deploy it, canceling it and its recovery if you will, unlike for example conq where you have to get out of all guard and go through the recovery to dodge bash: you can mind game opponents with this. example, you full block, you expect a guardbreak, but you quickly head for either a headbuty or the headsplitter directly from fullblock. Your enemy will most most likely anticipate the full block undodgeable to parry or they will try to guardbreak, so they will almost always fall for the fullblock dodge forward attack/bash cancel You can also cancel the full block with a light as you said, or even with a zone (but its not very useful since the undodgeable heavy and the zone have similar timings). You can also play with timing the undodgeable heavy if the opponent is heading for a gb. The fullblock is very powerful, make sure you integrate it in your offense and defense to keep the opponent both pressured and guessing.

I honestly wish warlord was more complex to play him. Its unfortunate anyone can pick him and be a threat on the field because warlord is such a simple character. The only things id consider warlord still viable is the fact you can turn off ya brain indefinetly while playing him. And crash and charge will forever remain as a very strong bash.

As a warlord main, I can say for sure I’ve won my share of 3v1s and 4v1s in Dominion and Breach. The main reason I get ganked is because I’m deadly in a 1v1 and they think if they overwhelm me they’ll accomplish their goal. 1. This tells me I’m better than they are if they have to gank me so even if I die it doesn’t matter. 2. Most of the time they don’t realize I’ve been in situations like this before and end up wiping the whole team out twice in a row (because they come back and go straight for me). 3. Also because their such toxic try hards I end up going into revenge two to three times and kill them all. Eventually it gets to a point where they gotta realize it’s never gonna go the way they planned. So in conclusion if I pull out my Warlord, you’re f*cked.

Im not watching the video just here to comment. Why the hell is a warlord video 22 minutes? Wtf is so hard about bash, light, heavy? The only somewhat unclear info would be max punish and that the only thing you dont have fram adv. on is a light. This should be like 1 min tops.
