love the matching pipe color, nice touch. Why not run your main drain separately to the pump? I am completely new to pools but having one built, just curious. I would think it would be nice to pull water from the bottom to help circulation.

Man I wanted to see the air pump. I though I seen it for a second ( Black at 3:35 ?)

We are in the middle of a pool build. No water is in the pool or system yet. The pad that the pump, filter & heater were placed on has completely eroded away underneath. Since the pipes are bending and the pump is lifting off the base now, all the equipment needs to be disconnected and pulled away so that proper ground preparation can be made. It's 21-43 degrees F average where I live now. My thought was to pull all the equipment, cap the ends of the pipes and worry about reconnecting in the spring. I can still get the pipes laying in the ground correctly without tension and sand placed along with building paver pads to place the equipment on. I just don't know the risk to the system if it's not connected? Any thoughts or suggestions??

what kinda paint? I live in the Coachella desert of CA and the pvc sometimes looks like someone took a torch to the pvc burnt looking that pritty cool if thier is a protective paint?

is the water pressurized when it comes out of the filtration tank?

Unless this is in a warm environment [ meaning pool will never have to be closed] I'd take my Sawzall to everything you did. Nice video though for explaining what you did and why you did it.

Jandy is way better made don't buy anything else those are Pentair I won't use those anymore junk.
