Hey there! Great suggestion!! Polishing glass requires a lot of abrasives but for a fine scratch it should be able to remove using the V-Line. - CG Nick

Hi there! Absolutely, Heavy Metal Polish works well for removing stains and oxidation from exposed metal surfaces. Apply a coat of your favorite wax to lock in shine and repel harsh elements.

Thanks for sharing this technique! I use both CG's heavy and light metal polish... Love both! What pad would be best for chrome that has some oxidation that wouldn't scratch the surface? I will be using a Porter Cable DA 7424XP. Thanks again, appreciate it. 👍😊

You can if you wish to preserve your pads so that they perform their best and last their longest.
