Restore brilliance and shine by following along with today's video! Using a dual action polisher cuts polishing time and saves effort. The TORQ10FX gives the perfect speed, control, and accuracy to perform at the highest level on any job. Use lower speeds to spread wax or sealant with an even coat, or higher speed settings to remove defects like swirls and scratches. Speed and perfection was our goal in developing C4, the evolutionary compound capable of precision paint correction and perfection. Rapid results in less time in a compound that is effortlessly capable of removing scratches and swirls, sanding marks, scratches, acid rain etching, and severe swirls and holograms means this is your new go-to compound whether you have a DA or rotary polisher, or you’re working by hand. C4 is developed for fast cutting paint correction without long work times and is designed and developed for tremendous results in the shortest time possible.
With P4, speed is of the essence and long work times are not required, so you can get incredible results in the shortest time possible. When you’re looking for a truly perfect finish with deep gloss, P4 polish technology effortlessly produces flawless results with your DA or rotary polisher. The versatile polish is capable of correcting 2000 grit and finer sanding marks without dusting or leaving behind residue, making this polish extremely easy to use and work with.

One more detail, in CA it's a bit hot and doing this stuff with car, which is really heated from the direct sun, this is not good for the health of the bodypart (If you want to ever do this and the hot weather is expected, do it in the shadow, or early at the day or in the evening). I am planning to perform "paint correction" on my old Mercedes that has mild and heavy scratches, swirl marks and everything else that you would expect on a well-loved 23 year old car. I will clay bar first. Should I begin with V34? Can I go down to V32 if I don't see the results expected with V34? Also, what is the difference between the V series products and the C and P series products?

Hi Ted! C4 and P4 are a great combination to cut down on time and effort while still achieving professional results. C4 is comparable to V34 and P4 starts out aggressive then refines to a comparable V38.

QUESTION : If car has a lot of scratches and some are quite deep so you need to paint them..but you also are planning to do full paint correction.. should we: 1. We first sort those deep scratches (preparation,sanding, painting, polishing), then do the full paint correction of whole car... 2. We do painting of deep scratches mid way of full paint correction... (after wash...iron and tar decontamination and clay bar decontamination) 3. We do all the steps of paint correction and before applying ceramic coating we focus on sorting those big deep scratches

Chemical Guys, I've been looking for a source of information, or a "guide", so to speak. But I'm not sure what I'm looking for even exists. I've heard different professional detailers say different cars require different products inside and out. Do you provide such a guide in which you recommend certain products of yours for that specific vehicle? For example, let's say I have a 2008 Dodge "whatever whatever", I look that up in the guide, and it tells me which of your products are safe on the interior, seats, carpets, outside, wheels, etc. Thank you for your response!

what speed on the 10FX for the cutting with C4? 25 / 35?
@ChemicalGuys
@ChemicalGuys Год назад
For spreading, use the lowest speed setting. For cutting, it depends on the level of scratches, but most times you can get away with the highest speed setting for the fastest cut!

Could you of also used v32 or v34 instead? or are the results better with C4 and P4?
@ChemicalGuys

Hey! For most aggressive cutting, use V34 or even V32 to remove deep imperfections.

Man you guys are on top of it, very thankful for your videos I was able to find one to get an understanding of your different polishes and compounds also v line products. Now I definitely see why v32 or 34 would not be too smart to use on here😂

How long does it take you to do something like this? Detailing a car to this extent?
@stevenstewart1308
@stevenstewart1308 Год назад
I clayed, polished, and hydro slicked mine and and it took an entire day. That was with only polish step.
@ChemicalGuys
@ChemicalGuys Год назад
To do the full car from start to finish could be anywhere from 4-12 hours depending on level of correction required and how detailed you want to go. Total length is really up to you - if you are looking for absolute perfection, you could theoretically work on one car across several days! 😍

Rather than the spray shine could I use an actual ceramic coating? I'm trying to figure out when the best time to ceramic coat would be. After the sealant I imagine?
@joey4261
@joey4261 10 месяцев назад
ceramic coatings always goes before anything else. that’s the most durable, longest lasting protection, which is why you want it under everything such as sealants, waxes, etc
@vermontvermont9292
@vermontvermont9292 10 месяцев назад
@@joey4261 I did. Almost a month ago now. Did a light machine buff since my car barely needed it. Obviously a wash first, clay, and IPA in-between everything. You know what I mean. Then once the paint was super clean and ready I applied the ceramic coating. Waited a week until I washed it again. Since then I use a quality spray ceramic detailer after my washes.
