I've taken so many of your short lick videos and went through this whole process and made some pretty sweet solos to some orignal songs in my band. Of all the YT videos / lessons I've watched on country guitar, you have the been the most helpful. Especially the video you have all about double stopped with the E shape position completely transformed how I play the guitar. Would love to have some private lessons one day! Jason, I've come back to this lesson several times because it hits the target. Learn the lick in several places and then its permutations. Excellent!

Thank you. This gave me some ideas how to improve my practicing. I tried moving a simple C pentatonic lick around the fretboard this afternoon for a a bit. Had to change it a bit on the higher strings. I have moderate knowledge of the fretboard, but I find moving something even simple around the neck really helps lock-in the chord shapes and positions. Again thanks for the video.

Cool stuff hey jsut a small detail you missed an A major pentatonic that this was from A B C# not C..... You played it right just called C instead of C# like the exercise!!!!

A few mistakes here: “I grab it with middle and ring” and then walk it down with “top two strings”.
