so is the reason you guys call these nutrient products A, B and whatever so that people don't exactly know how to make these themselves and rely on your steady supply? seems like these nutrients could be bought in any garden store, but then you couldn't sell the equivalent of proprietary razor blades, no? If you wanna make people farmers, shouldn't they at least develop an understanding of what goes into growing healthy foods with those mixes? Nutrient "A1" LOL.
Hey Ed! Very good observation 😊 I suggest everyone tune into world renown Growing Your Greens John Kohler - he has an episode about compost tea “Boogie Brew” the information and recipe are OPEN SOURCE!! I have been developing vertical gardening but with SOIL that has phenomenal microbiome ❤
Also… a Brix Refractometer can and should be used to test nutrition - I’m hoping they have used this and can report on the nutrition in their food (!!!)
Its not rocket science, they are just using a basic nutrient, mono potassium phosphate, potassium nitrate, magnesium sulphate. The calcium nitrate is kept separete. The ziplock bag is a premixed micro nutrient blend (such as STEM) which also contains the iron (Fe). They couldnt give the chemical weights even if they wanted to because they didnt formulate it, they simply bought it in.
To make everything go easier and faster and more precise I would recommend doing it exactly how he says BUT forget that pvc pipe stir stick and use an extended paint mixer drill attachment!!! Also you can use warm water instead of cold.
@@greatteacher3237 also the drill attachment for paint mixers are plastic, absolutely no kind of any reaction lol and there are TONS of videos out there showing people how to do it exactly the way I said.
Hey there I am from the aquarium hobby, I would just throw all the ingredients/nutrients in that tub with all the water, and throwing in a aquarium wave maker and leave it overnight, instead of stirring the witches cauldron.
I would love to see a video for those of us who have accumulated 7-10 towers but not bought big 12 tower system to use the gravity feed bucket and lines. Possibly like a DIY after market gravity feed system since filling 8 towers one by one is taking forever. I hope I made sense.
The mineral nutrient solution that we use is composed of all the essential macronutrients and micronutrients including all the trace elements necessary for healthy plant development. These minerals are completely natural and not synthetic.
We use a 100% natural ionic mineral nutrient solution that is mixed in the water which allows the plants to receive all the essential minerals and trace elements for healthy plant growth.
Our soluble nutrient solution features the purest minerals and trace elements including nitrogen, calcium, chelated iron, phosphate, sulfur, soluble potash, magnesium, boron, copper, manganese, molybdenum, zinc, and many other micronutrients and trace elements.
