Lovage is a very grateful plant / spice that is popular especially in Europe and in older, classic recipes. It can be added to cooked and roasted meats, potatoes, salads and almost all types of soups, whether meat or vegetable. That is why Lovage is sometimes called "Vegetable (Green) Magi". Sometimes I like it even as a finely chopped leaf of Lovage on fresh Home-made Bread with butter. It will grow on practically every garden and even on a balcony. It is one of the perennials that set off in early spring and can be harvested several times during the season until late autumn. There are many ways to keep Lovage for the winter. Among the most famous is probably dried or frozen. In my video you will find a way to keep it "Fresh" in the fridge for a few months. It is also said about Lovage, it is very beneficial for some men in their fifties - maybe the name Lovage comes from here :-). But keep in mind that Lovage is a very aromatic spice and my paste is very strong. So, don't overdo it with it, usually only 1/4 of a teaspoon is enough to flavour it.
