As a drying aid, I like to use meguiar's D156 x-press spray wax. In gallons it's economical and this product is really fabulous on wet paint and on windows, plastic, rubber ... In addition to giving a beautiful shiny/wet appearance, excellent hydrophobic effect and wow it smells good😋 , Et ca s'essuie d extreme ease without streaks! ❤️

Hey Mate, Great video with really good advice, I detail in Australia and I think a lot like you in terms of how I approach my detailing and the steps and procedures I use. I might have missed this in the video but do you happen to use a portable di water system by any chance? I grabbed one for my business and I found it made a huge difference in terms of water spots being left behind if something did happen to dry on the surface. Only time I had an issue was when I used a Carnuba infused soap and it dried leaving residue behind. Great Video happy detailing.

Hey friend! Thanks for tuning in… So no I do not use one. The only thing I do as far as altering the actual water itself is as I mentioned, putting an ounce of Rinseless Wash in my tank as I fill up. That softens the water a bit. Also the Formula 4 spray wax is the main method I showcase in the video… Which DI tank do you use? Thanks!

Have you tried spraying Formula 4 wax while the pearl soap is dwelling and then rinsing?

I have! It works well, although it will leave some unwanted residue. A quick wipe down will fix that though

Looking to start mobile detailing in Las Vegas. With the direct sun and heat I'm planning on using Formula 4 wax as a drying aid to prevent water spots. Can you follow up with TEC582 as a detailer after drying? Or could you just use TEC as a drying aid? Thanks!

So Formula 4 will give you the best chance of preventing water spots. Yes TEC can work, but my preference is Formula 4. You can use any spray wax afterwards

Sorry I was being vague. You can pretty much use any spray wax/ceramic/Graphene. Yes the longevity might be affected but that’s not that big of an issue
