I bought a new remote that is compatible with my system. And I keep having issues after I cycle the key 5x I hear 2 clicks I press the lock button and nothing happens. I have disconnected the battery and the antenna wire harness , and repeat the process and still nothing happens. If you can give me some guidance I would appreciate it. Thank you.
Did you figure out the issue? I have the same problem now, ordered new remote. It worked for a few months, then suddenly one day stops working. Did the 5x key cycle and only get 2 clicks.
That work for me too Takeoff the positive and negative and put it together for about four minutes then hook everything back to hook the positive first and then negative alarm started working again.
you went from OFF to On BUT then went to ACC to ON then leaving in the ON position. NOT from OFF to ON 5 times like you said. I purchased a replacment remote and am not having any luck getting my CM-600 brain to accept the replacment remote antenna 1W900FM. Help?
Hi Mr, Lockdown Security. I have a 2008 ford focus sedan with 80 bit key and I tried to program,but the brain just clips couple times and no parking light, no lock and unlock and no crank at all. Any may help. Thank you/
Hi Jeff, I got the starter installed with you guys last year. 1 of the 2 remote doesn’t work and I tried the on off 5 times but I don’t get the click sound nor able to program it again. What should I do? Thanks!!!
I’m confused exactly on what this product is, I wanted to update my key to a screen display key to get that luxury feel. Even though it feels like no one makes something for me. I found this on amazon. Does it replace your key? Do you only need the key? Any general info on it is much appreciated. Will it work with the 2015 bmw 5 series? Is it compatible with push button start?
If you brought the compustar remote starter from another company is it easy to install yourself, is that easy to program at yourself, let’s say if you brought from Amazon? Can someone program it in their selfs, is it easy to how you guys show it on RU-vid?
It all depends on which antenna model your CM600-AS is using. More than likely the CM600-AS is using the ANT1WAM antenna, in which case any AM antenna will work, *or* it is using no antenna at all, in which case only the 600R key fobs will work with it, which I believe are discontinued.
@@LockdownSecurity I called Firstech about this exact issue today. He said I needed a new antenna/remote combo and asked me to bring up BestBuy on my computer. He gave me 2 options. RF-2WG15-FM or RF-2WT10-SS. He could not sell to me directly and the remote for ANT1WAM antenna are discontinued. WHEN YOU SAY ANY AM ANTENNA WILL WORK CAN I BUY ANY AM ANTENNA/FOB COMBO? WILL I NEED TO PROGRAM AS IN THIS VIDEO?
I just looked again and I have an Fm antenna ANT-1W900FM hmm,, now to google what remotes will work, firstech said remotes are discontinued for it but I think ill double check.
My remote control in my crv 2012 can't work the lock and unlock button, I think I need to replace new remote control, is it the same way if I have a new compustar remote control to reprogram it.?
@@LockdownSecurity I have an Honda Accord 2013. Is a push to start. I try pushing the button on and off 5 times. No way I can get it fast enough. Because each time I shut it off... It take 2 seconds before it allow me to turn it on again.
@@LockdownSecurity Never mind, yes putting the car in reverse did the trick. Because if you just put in Park, the car will give you a pause each time you turn it off... There are no way you can do this 5 times in 10 seconds. But putting the car in reverse will do it. Thanks again for the help.

+Debbie Livingston Program your remotes (however many you have) 3 times, so if you have 2 remotes, program 1 of them twice, the second remote program as the third, then your blue LED will start to blink again.
