just a quick video on how to program a new avital remote/keyfob the old remote is a 477L model that is no longer available and the new one is a 7352L model. the new model should be compatible with all the systems using the old style remote even though if it doesn't say it on the packaging. mine alarm/remote start system is a 4400. hope this video helped you out, thanks for watching!

This worked with my Excalibur remote start on my 08 silverado, my vallet button was in the top center of my windshield w the sensor & it only needed to be clicked 6 times to add/reprogram, thank you sir!

Another way that worked is press the valet button 1x then hold it...then hit the lock buttons on the remotes you wanna sync. Game over. 🏅

Thank you so much @bassisgood for the video...unfortunately the 8 times didn't work for me...so tried, 9, then 8, then 5, then 6, then 2...and nothing! Finally saw this comment from @kitunes where he talks about pressing once then once more and viola! It worked! Thanks kitunes!

I actually had to use the other setup according to the instructions on the package for the 7352L remote which is press 1 time and press and hold then program. the way you showed me is also listed in the instructions , it just disabled my remote lock function Thxs for the info.

Nice! This system came with my 4runner I bought used so many years ago. Just installed a compustar system in my van! Its awesome, connects to LTE network and you can lock unlock, start and it will send alerts anywhere, also has gps tracking, these systems have come a long ways

It worked, I have a Avital 3300 system, and bought a 3305 remote, it works fine once programmed. It will lock and unlock the doors, but display keeps showing its out of range for the display icons to work? Again the remote does work, just the two way function is not being received ?

hey glad it worked! hmmm my remote sometimes wont receive the message back if I'm too far. hard to say if your close though, i'm not to familiar with these systems yet

yeah if it's the remote that went bad then you just need a new one, and programming should be the same as long as it's the same system I have

Its worth a try, there is also a switch somewhere in the vehicle that will off the remote starting for safety reasons

Hello, bassisgood do you still have the Avital remote keyfob. I would like to know....how do you open the back hatch with the Avital keyfob?

Yes I have it still, my vehicle has a manual latch for the back hatch it only unlocks and locks with the rest of the car

I wish I could have remote start. I have a manual, and although I believe it is still possible I don't know if I'm comfortable not leaving it in gear in my driveway and solely relying on the parking break.

yeah its possible on a manual but a bit sketchy especially if you accidentally leave it in gear and try and remote start it

Worked on my Avital 3300, fob battery died, put in new battery, somehow it lost programming and would not disarm alarm. Luckily a had spare fob to disarm alarm and was easily able to reprogram main fob using this method.

Not sure since it seems to be model dependent, maybe download the manual on their website

I believe I have an Avital 5303 on a 2005 GMC Sierra. The battery died in the 7352L 5 button 2 way LCD transmitter. After replacing the battery, now it will not transmit commands to the system, but it will receive command notifications if I use the standard 4 button 7143L to lock, unlock or remote start the vehicle. I also purchased a new 7143L transmitter due to the mother board wearing out in the original, but it appears the system will not enter programming mode. I have followed all the instructions for programming with no success. Any suggestions on what could cause the 7352L to receive command notifications but not send commands, or why the system will not program new remotes? I don’t want to buy another 7352L remote if the system will not program that one as well. Thanks so much for any help you can provide.

i'm not sure to be honest, I'm not to familiar with these systems, maybe it's the control module and not the remote? had to say for sure, maybe try a battery reset on the car

Please reply I have the same system and my lock and unlock work perfectly but when I try and start it it’ll start for a couple seconds then immediately shut off what could be the problem?

hard to say i'm not to familiar with these systems. maybe the immobilizer bypass isn't working right?

So I have the same alarm system you have and walked out to my car today tried to unlock it and it did nothing my battery is perfect fine the car starts fine but the remote seems to have gone dead even though the battery and the road was perfect and when I open the door with the key the alarm starts to go off in my remote tells me my alarm is going off although I can’t unlock or lock my doors and I cannot shut off my alarm via the remote

Hello. I just purchased this remote and previously I was using 477L just like the one in the video. I am not able to connect new remote for some reason. I have a couple Qs -- (1) Do I keep the door open before doing any of these? (2) I hear car security alarm sound(not chirping sound) after 6th or 7th click and it stops right away but I do not hear the chirping after holding it on 9th click, why is that? (3) Is there any different way to sync the remote that I can give a try? Please advise! Thank you so much!

they should be as long as you get the right remote for the particular system, programming the remote proccess may be different depending on what system it is

i'm not sure how to do that I know there is a way though If you type in whatever model you have with instructions, you should be able to find the manual for it

Generally you need a bitwritter to do that if it is a directive electronics unit

hold unlock and lock button for remote start and shut off, they do a bunch of things, they have a manual on the website

@@4WheelKid looked up the manual and followed the instructions and no luck. Took the car to the shop and they were able to fix it for me and get it out of valet mode.

they do a whole bunch of stuff with different combinations, best to download the manual, I can't even remember what all they do. I just use it for remote start, and locking/unlocking

hey thanks, I think that means the alarm was triggered at some point, if you unlock and lock or start the car, it should go away

I hear the chirping on the sixth time I push the button, not on the ninth, when I'm to hold it in, and it will only lock my car and won't unlock it, with the alarm blaring and I can't turn it off. Any idea of what that is?

@@doobiedonuts I kept at it, and eventually, the lock button on the remote will now lock and arm and unlock and unarm the alarm. Also, I did the other channel where you push the button three times before the remote pairs with the alarm.

hold down The side top (F) button untill hour blinks. set hour with middle side (aux) button, press (F) again and set minutes with (aux) hold (F) until stops blinking

@@4WheelKid hell yeah! You the man! Any idea why when I remote start in the morning it will start for about 30 seconds (key fob will play melody) then the truck will shut off (key fob plays melody again) and a little message flashes above the trunk of the car on the key fob (to small to read)?

only works with this specific aftermarket alarm system if the rav4 has the same alarm system then it will work. if it's the stock system from Toyota it will not work

dang, they could pretty much put it anywhere during install, maybe finding the control boxes and see where they go. maybe see if you can find the diagram for it and see which connector is for the program button and follow that wire. or install one if it's missing

if you press the upper side button while it's playing it turns it off for that time, not sure how to turn it off completely, these things have a lot of settings

sounds like it's faulty, did you try a new battery? if you just bought it I would try and return it

bassisgood I've had it for a while . It usually stopped working when the battery was low but I put a new one in it . Everytime put the battery in it the display shows up and it plays the little song but the display turns off ,but the buttons still work
