How to use your Avital 7143L (EZSDEI474S) 5 function/4 button key remote (full demo). 

Full demonstration of the Avital key fob model # 7143L (FCC ID # EZSDEI474S). Maybe you just bought a used car that has this remote system or a similar system on it. Locking and unlocking the car is easy, but what about those other buttons? Here I show you how to easily use all of the features in this system.
KEEP IN MIND that this is NOT a factory part installed by your manufacturer (in my case Chevrolet) and may be a DEALER INSTALLED OPTION, or installed by an aftermarket key shop. This particular car had it installed at the dealer when new, as part of the "Preferred Option" package. If you buy a used car with ANY aftermarket remote system, HAVE THE SYSTEM CHECKED ENTIRELY to make sure it is not glitchy or going to activate an immobilizer, disabling you to start your car. This Avital system does NOT have an immobilizer, however some systems do. Be careful, as unknowingly having an immobilizer, ESPECIALLY AN AFTERMARKET ONE, could leave you stranded with no way home.
