I had a lock Smith come but he was unable to reset it once connected back to the car but when he took it out he was able to reset in his van but was unable to when connected back to the car ... Any solutions. He has the im608 pro
Great video! Question would this be the same process for a 2002 GS 300? I would appreciate any information, little backstory I bought the car from auction it was stolen and then recovered. When I purchased it the steering column was broken and I already have a replacement for it and a new key that’s not cut would I need the key code for that steering column from the old vehicle per say? Then proceed to update the computer and key itself to the car? Only key it came with is a valet key. Thank you and what kind of computer are you using it’s very useful id like to purchase one!
if the ignition lock cylinder was damaged I would say get an ignition lock already coded and cut key it will save u a ton of time and the scanner I use is the autel im608 really amazing tool
@@JVFIXLLC This all key lost procedure in teory is similar for a 2001 Toyota Camry? I din`t find any imformation on my country youtube chanels. Thank you for your time. Best regards form Brazil!
Hey bro I was wondering if you can drop some knowledge on me I have a 2015 Lexus is250 and my autel 608 pro 2 scanner says VIn decoding failed do you know why ? Is that a Lexus thing ?
I thought for these models you had to take the ECU out in order to reset the immobilizer? Now we can bypass that method with Autel? Does this work with a regular key without the remote as well??
@@juanrendon3639 is there a special menu for this? using the pad3 elite, under 4C it only allows adding/erasing master or valet keys (with an already registered key). There's no Immob reset (via OBD) function at all. It does however have the usual eeprom reset, requiring the ecu out.
@@JVFIXLLC you know, unfortunately, it did not work on the 2002 Lexus RX300. Resetting the immo fails within 10seconds. This one requires the interior door panel to be removed to get the lock so i did that to make the key that i cut on a Lpx90 xhorse blade. I pressed the blade into a Keydiy remote body. I used a suoerchip to generate a transponder 4C. After it failed, i thought may be the superchip was the problem and used an Original 4C chip but it failed again. I had to remove the PCM and ill try resetting tonight.
