For those who like to program drums using the midi editor it would be awesome if Pro Tools had a drum editor like many other DAWs have. Being able to make your own drum maps for third-party drum software is so convenient. It eliminates the guess work when programming the notes in the midi editor. Eventually I hope to see a midi drum editor, chord track, and chord pads so I don’t have to use multiple DAWs. Separate notes to different tracks is a workaround but it’s not preferable.
I've been working in Pro Tools tracking live strings for quite some time, but am brand-new to programming rhythm tracks. This is tremendously helpful -- thank you!
I'm new to all of this, and I've watched videos on just about everything with pro tools. This video has an incredible amount of info. I've been rewatching it and I learn something new each time. Thanks for sharing this. Its incredible. Well done Sir!
Simon, I always leave Link Timeline and Edit Selection and Link Track and Edit Selection enabled (for the most part), but I see you running with Dynamic Transport enabled while you work in the session. Would be great to see a video explaining when you choose to Link Timeline/Link Track VS using Dynamic Transport.
