Amazing video! Thanks so much for sharing your details for us. 1 question: how do u know the key fob frequency for parchasing? I have a 2008 Benz R320 all key lost and I dont know where to find the key fob frequency...Thank you so much for answering!
When you read the key with this tool it says the frequency. But I noticed that on most US Mercedes models they used the frequency 315mhz. And 433mhz I have seen it to be used on the european models
Hy that's a good video thanking you. But what I don't get it is using the J2534 coz I don't have 1 I own IM508 so can I connect to the obd direc is it the same? And where can I get those jumper cables please
the im508 would not be able to do mercedes you need the j2534 to be able to make it work and the im608 has the diagrams for connections. the jumper cables i bought them on ebay.
If u don't update u only lose the mercedes password calculation feature and also the dodge pin code retrieval for 2012 and up I believe. And also password calculation for vw bmw and other european cars. But u can still program many keys
@@TechBoxHD1 it will work for sure the update is just a subscription to mainly connect to the autel servers. If u do a lot of locksmith and keys programming is worth to update the scanner.
It depends on the person I charged 200 for this job with key included. Stealerships can charge up to 1k for this and local Smith's also can charge close to 1k too. Call different lock Smith's ro get the best price possible
yea it is called wire piercing prove. here is the link. www.ebay.com/itm/POWER-PROBE-PPIPPPP01-Wire-Piercing-Probe-for-LS01-Green-/284077722986?_trksid=p2385738.m4383.l4275.c10
Brother if you could help me out with my problem. I have an all smart keys lost for 2009 Toyota Venza and I am trying to do DIY as the cheaper alternative . Could you recommend the cheapes tool that will get the job done to program new keys? Also, do I need a password of the keys to do it? Thanks in advance brother.
The only tool that I know that is cheaper on toyota is the program called Techstream and I believe u can get it on ebay for a good price. U will need a laptop by the way to make it work
I lost my mercedes-benz GLK 350. I live in remote area near Alaska but in Canada. I n order to get another key fob, I have to tow about three thousand km. So any solution you suggest for me
Dammnn man I am sorry to hear that but unfortunately there is no other way to turn it on. The security on Mercedes is very sophisticated and sometimes hard to do. I'll advise u if u can get a local locksmith for that.
@@govindarajmurugaiyangovind9722 dammnn. I wish I could help u mate but u are too far away and the only way to make start again is by programming a new key. I wish u goodluck
No it's a new one aftermarket. The new key i am programming is after market and can be programmed really easy with this tool. U can leave me your email and I'll send you the link where u can get the key and it's only like $70
HOW MUCH YOU CHARGE THE CUSTOMER FOR THE KEY. i just switched programmers from autopropad to IM608. Much better programmer. im no newbie either, but id love to do the bmw and mercedes and all other euro stuff that xtools is fucking us on
