I have the same type flood lights on my home! I just found your channel, thanks, this FINALLY took the guess work out of the equation. Flood lights were already on the home when I purchased but had no instructions.
Nice job man. Also, just enough comedy to keep us entertained, and dope cameo by 'the lady bug'. Lol. Also, I didn't know about using the on/off switch to power up for keeping the sensor light on all night vs just keeping the sensor on as a sensor. Thanks a million!
Thank you so much I could not figure out how to get my security camera to work because my flood light would not stay on. My security camera screws into the floodlight socket, now everything works perfectly you are the man
Mine just has mins., test and range. Have set it for 1 min. and medium range. Can't figure out how to set it for motion sensor. The light turns on and stays but that's all it does.
Wow thank you. you answered a question I've had issues with for 10 years. how to use the motion detect light switch vs regular flood light switch. ha ha that's been a nightmare for me!!
How can activate my sensor lights to work only at night time..because mine all day they’ve been detecting cats dogs even branches ..I don’t have any switch inside to turn it off..
Thanks! Mine was staying on and suddenly I noticed it was going off tonight, but not staying on long enough. I don't know if a neighbor sneaked over here and fixed or the cold weather made it work again🤷. I want it to stay on twenty minutes. Thanks!!!
I'm trying to find motion sensor lights with the on/off/on feature to keep them on. It would be nice if people who have them would give the brand and model in their reviews so others would know. Most descriptions of the lights don't mention this feature so they may or may not have it.
if dualbrite is on then the light will be dim then when motion is senst then the light will go brite if dualbrite is off then the light will not dim but it will still detect motion
My light has the exact same settings. But the test/on-time little slider switch broke off... trying something to fit in there to slide it. Thank you! :)
I have a question. Say the "on time" for the light is set at 6 hours. After 6 hours have elapsed and the light turns off, will it come back on if motion is detected?
Question: I have the ETi 240 that, in the last couple of weeks, will not shut off at all (probably a power surge). No matter what I try, I cannot get the sensor to reset. It is wired into the light in the garage, so no separate switch, but even killing it at the breaker has not helped. Suggestions?? Thank you!
So I have a motion detector flood that came with the house. There's no manual, and I can't find the brand on the thing. Thanks to this video I was able to figure out how to make it work properly again. The trick was a feature I never knew: turning the switch off for 3-4 seconds changes the mode from motion detection to always on. I was pulling my hair out! Dude, you're a little bit dorky, but I'm grateful for this video.

Great video but you can just buy it a fiber glass ladder from Home Depot and return it after you finish the video, safety first ! just make a good video FYI
1:12 Idk i'd say they should get a on ladder to get use to it. Me personally never am comfortable on a huge ladder but i always have to get up there anyways, of course i built houses most of my youth. But i do got height issues, But its something you gotta kind of push to overcome. & i was in the army too & stood atop the tallest Repelling structure in the u.s. & one of the tallest in the world, Eagle Tower, But nope hieghts still bother the pss out of me for some reason. Most of the people i notice like myself tend to be over cautious on ladders making sure they are aligned right & all that more than someone who isn't, at least from my experience thats the case, Its always the guy thats not afraid of heights that falls off the ladders, Mayhap because they are a little to comfortable using them that they don't make sure everything is set right?
