curious if you would have any idea why my i1000 wont ever back up my original tune. It says that its at 100% but never goes any further than that. 45 minutes later and I just unplugged it as nothing was happening to it.
On the 2014 charger srt8 if i try to modify timing fuel parameters on a 93 tune ! Car wont start nd have to go back to retire back up nd reinstall 93 tune! Same if i want to advance stick tune parameters adv timing etc, car wont start ! The only tune that wrks is the diablo 93 or 91 that the tuner came w, anything more that i would try to advance rich or advance timing the car wont start? My tuner is updated from the website so thats mot the issue !! My pcm is unlocked as well
If you don't have access to the vehicle it is locked to, the only way to unlock it is to pay Diablosport $179 to have them reset it. DiscountTuners.com will buy locked ones
when i click write tune it doesnt let me pick tunes, it says that my pcm may need updated and if i click no or cancel it says tuner doesnt work on my vehicle
Right if you have 2015+up dodge there pcm are locked. But from what your saying it sounds like you need to update the tuner. You can use the usb cable hook it up to a computer and it will check for updates from Diablo. Update it and try it on your vehicle again
I have an i 1000 for my 2004 Dodge Ram 1500 5.7l and I am about to put some long tube pacesetters on it. Do I have to get a custom tune or will the can tunes instill work??
