Pro tip: next time you do a photo shoot for some professional looking content, bring multiple outfits. Shoot indoors and outdoors with the photographer. This way you can stock up on some content to post that makes it not all look the same or like it was taken the same day ✌🏻
I just did a nice photo shoot on the cheap while instructing my autistic friend on how to use her camera phone. She's a lovely gal for putting up with me. I took some beach shots in Connecticut. I really needed it. She has not idea how much it helped me. Feeling thankful and now she knows how to use that camera.
And IRON your T-shirts. You won’t notice this on casual photos but in a professional shoot...I ruined a lot of great pics because of this. Stupid me lol...

i’ve never actually learned something from these types of videos until now. i’m really bad at advertising and you really make me itch with excitement to get out there and start implementing these tips. it makes me wish i knew this stuff way sooner but better now than never! i also love how this video is 1 take. it’s like a real conversation instead of cutting and editing.
When you been doin the 4 boxes intuitively 🙊🙊 I just honestly don’t like it when you go into an IG page and see all the same videos or pictures and basically monotone content so I tried to always keep it diverse for my own way. But still learned dang much here so thank you Adam!

My main struggle is like you say consistency, i was in the mindset of "i don't know what to post" i need my feed to be perfect, to look like a masterpiece, i don't want it to look awful, does anybody relate to this?

don't worry about saying "ultimately" too much. I didn't even notice without you pointing it out. this actually made me realize, whenever I watch videos or listen to recordings of me speaking, I always notice the little quirks about myself that I never noticed before, and that it doesn't actually matter because I am much more likely to notice rather than my audience. thanks for the content, all the best!
My four buckets are Mental Health, Music/RU-vid, Sharable content/Video, and Nerd Culture/lifestlye! I realized what I need to do is make sure these don't overlap too much so there is more variety in my content. I've done so much better in the last few weeks but I could do better

This is amazing Adam. It is funny, as a business student & musician I get asked a lot about tips to grow in music. I offer advice which is extremely similar to yours and the majority just ignore it because they are more on the "artist" side, they just want to make music and post it, hoping that people will just find it and see how "genius" or "visionary" it is. I think it is great that you are out here equipping artists w/the marketing know-how that we need to grow as an artist.
This is a proper vid! I def gained some insight. I wish you could go into more detail about how the socials (and some sites) are able to track mouse movements, cursor hovers, pauses on scrolls, etc. Hopefully you can do a vid about that because it could actually inspire people to put more thought into their images. Me personally, I'm a developer of apps and web apps, and it's crazy how much people don't know about the apps and sites they're using.

I only just started my youtube, IGTV, music stuff and just discovered you and i am trying to start implementing EVERYTHING especially the 4 rule!! I hope to look more into hashtag strategy and instagram algorithm because I never really took advantage of them before (didn't feel the need to as at the time it was just all for friends/family. You probably won't read this, but if you I just wanna let you know that you are a blessing to dumbass artists like me, I really wish you all the happiness and success in the world man, you've helped me go from only posting lyric videos at midnight every couple of months to actually applying marketing strategies and trying new things, as I said you and Smart Rapper are legends man 🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️
One thing you can do is go have photo shoots. Where you have like 5 or six outfits in your car and you drive around for a day and take pictures. Take enough to where you have 5 or 6 good ones for each location. If you went to 7 places, you have at least 35 photos to use to fill the gaps in your content. A lot of my friends who have bigger followings than me do that and some of the pictures are from over a year ago. You really gotta be posting every day if you wanna get somewhere.
